Zip Line and Wine from Cape Town
Description
This is unlike any other Zipline activities on offer, locally. This activity was once voted the second best adventure in the world and is situated in a pristine Nature Reserve. The Zipline activity lasts about 3,5hrs, has 11 Slides and 13 Platforms. This activity located in a biosphere in our maritime mountain basin. This biosphere is the richest and most diversified on earth. Combined with this is a unique Wine appreciation experience. It is done in the mountainous cold climate region of the Cape and is unlike the traditional touristy regions which is situated in the warmer climate regions.

We will collect you at any of the establishments in and around the City of Cape Town. If you're staying outside of the City Centre then please check with us if we are able to collect you from your location. Otherwise tell us where we can collect you inside the City Centre.

- Fitness required: We recommend a reasonable level of fitness. You will need to hike for 1km up and out of the mountain after the tour
- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
- Zipline activity is subject to favorable weather conditions.
- Please be sure to bring warm clothes since weather in the Cape can be unpredictable – especially up in the mountains
- Please bring comfortable shoes to walk in.
- Rain gear will be provided in wet weather

What an amazing experience! This was our first time zip lining and it was fantastic!! Lukha and Winnie were great guides and were so much fun!! There is a bit of rock climbing involved. We were pretty proud of ourselves.
Our Zipline guides were so funny and engaging and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
I highly recommend the tour. It was just myself and husband so it was like a private tour. Johnathan was excellent, friendly, knowledgable, and entertained us the whole trip. Ziplining here is a must ! We loved the whole experience.
It was a wonderful trip, loved every part of it! Especially the jeep trip up the mountain and the ziplining down the hill.
This tour made for my favorite day of our trip, by far. Our guide was knowledgable and friendly, the zip line experience was so exciting yet safe, and the wine tasting location was beautiful and relaxing. Finally, the cheetah encounter was so informative, and we had the opportunity to pet a 6 month old cub.
<p>We had a fantastic time on our tour. Rachid, our driver was very personable and we enjoyed gaining his perspective on living in South Africa. My wife and I had never zip lined, and she was nervous. We had a very exciting adventure, and our zip line guides KG and Lucky were stellar! They were very attentive to the safety of their guests, and KG stuck to my wife like glue, even tandem zipping with her. She loved it! The wine tasting was relaxing at a beautiful winery, and we bought a lovely South African wine for practically nothing the dollar goes a long way against the rand. We ended the day with the cheetahs at the Cheetah Encounter. Their program was very interesting, and we really loved getting the opportunity to pet the cheetahs and observe them up close. We highly recommend this tour!</p>

<p>Such a fun day! The zipline was really high so we were a little nervous at first but once we got over the initial apprehension it was so much fun! It rained but our guides were awesome so we were able to keep going. Everything is safe and well maintained. They take realy good care of you. Such an adrenaline rush! They also give you a delicious lunch and they email you a video of your tour. The winery was smal and intimate and the woman who tended to our group was very nice. The bottles were cheap to take home. Finally, the cheetahs! Got to pet the adults and cubs and take pictures witth them. Overall an awesome day! Highly recommend!</p>

<p>This was a day full of fun. The zip-line at Capecanopy was excellant even though it was raining. The Cheetah sanctuary is very well run and we had photos taken with an individual cheetah which was a real treat for one of our group. The final part of our day was at a vineyard. We opted for the wine and chocolate tasting, VERY NICE. Overall this was a very well organised day trip just outside Cape Town suitable for all ages. Highly recommended</p>
<p>AMAZING. Johnathan is a great tour guide! From the time he picked us up till when he dropped us off my friend and I had a great time. He was very knowledgeable about the area and always had a great joke to tell. It turns out we were the only ones on the tour because we went during off season. </p> <p>The staff at the Zip line establishment were excellent and made sure we had a great time on the mountain. The even had hot chocolate ready for us at one of the platforms :<br/> The wine tour and the cheetah encounter was also an experience in itself and not too expensive. </p> <p>Overall if you are looking for a great guide and a day full of adventure, Johnathan is your guy!!</p>
<p>It was a great day and a great start to our vacation. The zip-lining was amazing and a great way to take in the views of the surrounding area of Cape Town. At Cheetah Outreach, we learned why the cheetah is now an endangered animal and got to meet one of the cheetahs they are protecting. The day ended on the right note with a nice wine tasting at a vineyard before heading home. Great way to accomplish a lot of different activities.</p>
