The meeting point is The tour guide will be wearing a top hat and a time traveller's' clock. I will be on the steps next to entrance to the museum. Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Very interactive, entertaining and informative. They put in a lot of effort to make it a fun way to see the city and teach a lot of the history. My wife and I had a great time and highly recommend to anyone visiting York.
I have done many walking tours throughout the UK and Europe to learn about local history and I have liked many of them, but none has offered the fun, interactive and immersive experience like this one. Patrick and his assistant cover 2000 years of York history, by weaving a narrative that brings the history to life for tour members. Participants take on character roles with some simple props and dialog throughout the York Historical timeline. This was a fun engaging experience for our family.

What a fantastic tour. Went with 4 friends and it cannot be beat for fun and insights. To be honest other tours we passed on our time-travelling trip round York looked dull by comparison. This one has gags, costumes, interaction, props, quizzes, and a brilliant buzz to it. Loved the energy but also the really detailed and deep history too.
