Awful
This treasure hunt was extremely difficult. The third clue was completely missing, the fourth was incorrect, and it was very difficult knowing how far you should be walking to spot the answer, so it resulted in a lot of backtracking, and in the end, we couldn't finish it.

A Great Way to See York's Snickleways, Gates and Bars
Our second York Treasure Hunt with this company, and just as enjoyable as the first one. We know York quite well, but on both occasions we found ourselves discovering parts of the city we'd never seen before. Clues are varied and just tough enough to stretch the brain cells without leaving you too frustrated. That, combined with the ability to stop for a drink and/or lunch on the way around the city, make either Treasure Hunt a great day out.

Working together to solve the clues
Fun exploring parts of York not seen before. Clues set about right, some quite easy to solve, others we needed a couple of hints. A great way to spend a few hours in a lovely city.

Fun way to explore the city
My two children and I played this game over two days. It was very fun and informative. York is very well suited to this kind of adventure. The riddles are tricky but doable. The "captain" makes some funny quips along the way. Fun for a family!

Would recommend!
Really enjoyed this! Would recommend to anyone going to York. You go to places you wouldn't have come across if left to your own devices. Really fun and not made too easy so you have to look at your surroundings to solve.

Wonderful Fun Walking Tour
Easy to book, clear and simple instructions as to how to get to the start of the trail. Overall we had a great time! We didn't struggle with use of the app functionality. Even with only one player logged in. We're sure this would be great for bigger groups even though we only did this as a couple. We loved the little hidden gems of information, and the sneaky discount in the pub (which was exactly what was needed) We took longer than stated to complete this mostly because we stopped to do many other things along the way! Good insight into all the areas we visited, and especially great foresight for giving us info ahead of the busiest sections. Thanks for guiding us around York!

2nd Teeasure Hunt we've done with this company.
Booked this having done the hunt in Bath before Christmas where we had an awesome time. This was equally good. Its a great way to explore the city, to learn a little bit about it and see some quirky things you probably wouldn't notice. With the added fun of having to solve clues along the way. The clues are hard enough to make it fun and not to hard to frustrate. We will definitely be doing another one.

A fun way to explore York
We did the treasure hunt around York and it was very interesting. We found lots of places that we wouldn’t have found otherwise and learnt a lot about the history of the city. We used a few hints but managed to find all but one clue. We have also done of the cities and enjoyed those too
