There has been a Blue Boar since Medieval times and despite connections with royalty, it is perhaps most famous for it being where the body of legendary Highwayman Dick Turpin was on display following his execution. We might even see his coffin!

What an amazing day! I love pubs and I love history and so Stephen's tour was just what I needed. I got personal attention and so much information all in all a very entertaining and satisfying day. Stephen is knowledgeable and also entertaining with plenty of stories. The pace was relaxed but not ever boring. I would recommend this for solos as well as couples are very small groups.
