Great tour to go on while your there, Lovely staff, well organised, tour guide was brilliant on the water.
Lovely cruise at sunrise with views across the wetlands. Boat stopped as wildlife was spotted, including crocs and many varieties of birds.
Great guide very knowledgeable, funny, and welcoming. Great tour lots of bird life and crocodiles to be seen as well as learning heaps about the land the indigenous and the wildlife there. Very worth it
I cannot recommend this enough! You get a very different perspective of Kakadu from the water. The bird life is incredible! I took my parents to Kakadu, they are both very able bodied and in their mid 80's. We all love nature. Our first cruise was the sunset cruise with Jesse James our guide. Accolades must be given to this guide for making our 2 hour sunset cruise so memorable. He really made it! He was amusing and informative and also spoke very clearly which was important as my father is hard of hearing even with his hearing aid. Jesse single handedly made the cruise we did the highlight of our visit to Kakadu. Thank you! We loved the cruise so much we also did the sunrise cruise the following morning. Whilst we enjoyed this second cruise very much, our guide was not nearly as annimated and my father found it difficult most of the time to hear her. She was never the less informative and we were still very pleased that we did two cruises during our two day visit to Cooinda Lodge (which is also amazing).
The highlight of our trip. Very well organised, awesome and informative guide, lots of crocs and wildlife on the sunset trip.
Dennis the tour guide has a great sense of humour made the tour cruise educational and funny . I learned a-lot about the animals and birds that live in the Yellow Water river system
We really enjoyed this cruise. From our greeting by a lovely young girl to Zoe who was our guide/boat driver we were very impressed with the professionalism of the experience. We were very fortunate to watch a Croc and Buffalo having a stand off. Highly recommend this experience.
Magical 2-hour moment of fulfillment and tranquility. We did the late afternoon one and we were spoiled by the wildlife (lots of crocodiles, buffalo, multitudes of birds, ....) and the sunset as a bonus. It will remain an excellent memory.
Book tours early & do your homework prior. We usually ‘wing it’ and we’re disappointed because of it. ’
Excellent and informative commentary in beautiful environment. Plenty of wildlife to see, especially crocodiles and birds.
