Dylan the guide was...

Dylan the guide was great. Super personality. Was a bit disappointed at missing Jabiru township and the Jumping Croc Tour was more like Pilates Croc Tour. But it was early and you can’t count on wildlife. The speaker in the bus stopped working early, so couldn’t hear much commentary but it was still a nice tour. Viator should have warned that Ubirr was quite dangerous territory to walk.

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We're glad to hear that Dylan's personality made a positive impact and that you enjoyed the tour overall. We appreciate your honesty about missing Jabiru township and the Jumping Croc Tour experience-wildlife sightings can be unpredictable, and we understand the slight disappointment there. Sorry about the bus speaker issues; we'll pass that along to improve future tours. Your point about Ubirr being quite challenging terrain is very important, and we'll consider adding warnings about the walking conditions to better prepare future travelers. Thank you again for your valuable insights-they help us improve the experience for everyone.

Kakadu is definitely a must do!

It’s a long day trip but worth it. Our guide, Sonya, was full of information about flora/fauna/culture; who needs the internet when you had her encyclopaedic knowledge. We learned far more than we thought we would. We didn’t do the jumping crocs, but did Fogg Dam and saw an amazing amount of various bird life, and one little croc. There were plenty of stops along the way, but the rock art at Ubirr was the highlight and I was amazed at how much there was to see and we only saw a tiny bit of it. It was incredible! We came home very tired but pleased with this adventure. Highly recommend it!!

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience! We're delighted to hear that you found the day trip worthwhile and that Sonya’s encyclopedic knowledge enriched your journey. It’s great to know you enjoyed exploring Fogg Dam and the incredible birdlife, and that the rock art at Ubirr was a highlight for you. Even though it was a long day, it’s fantastic to hear you came away pleased and with great memories. We truly appreciate your high recommendation and hope to welcome you back for more adventures in the future!

An unforgetful trip!

Sanne, our tour guide, really made the difference on this trip. While I would just have seen bush and marshland, she always have some interesting information to share. She was pleasant, lively, aimed to connect with all involved and took into account the various level of fitness in the group. True that the bus broke down on our return, 3 hours away from Darwin and that we made it past 11 pm while we normally would have arrived at 8pm. But Sanne stayed calm, lively and continued to provide touristy information. I must admit our singing to 80s music while driving the night roads made it extra special. Thanks Sanne. They are lucky to have you!

Operator response

Thank you for your fantastic review! We're so glad Sanne made your Kakadu experience so memorable with her knowledge, energy, and care for the group. We appreciate your patience with the unexpected delay and love that you turned it into a fun and unforgettable adventure. We'll be sure to pass on your kind words to Sanne!

Kakadu with Dylan (learning can be fun!)

Dylan was our guide and he was delightful 😍, really enjoyed our day together with a small group on a comfortable bus. It is a long day, but we didn't have long in Darwin, the view at the top was worth the effort, stay longer if you can but if you can't Dylan has got you.

Operator response

Thanks so much for your lovely review! 😊 We're so glad you enjoyed your day with Dylan and that Ubirr was worth the climb. We hope to welcome you back for a longer NT adventure next time!
