Itinerary
Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 - 210BC), the first emperor of the first unified dynasty of Imperial China, left the UNESCO World Heritage Site to Xian. You will see a super large collection of life-size terra cotta sculptures in battle formations, reproducing the mega imperial guard troops. Being the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the Terracotta Army is no doubt a must-see for every visitor to Xi'an.

The trip was very good and...
The trip was very good and well organized, and it was fantastic to finally see the warriors. Our guide Celine was really skilled and very engaged, which was super nice. She was good at telling us lots of information about the warriors, the emperor, and the time, which made one leave satisfied with lots of new knowledge. She was also super sweet and good at English. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with a guide, as you get much more out of the experience.

Tourist Army was bigger than the Terracotta Army
Go there on weekdays and outside of chinese school holidays or any holidays. Still its probably worth seeing if you are in the area.

Celine was a fantastic...
Celine was a fantastic tour guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job explaining the history of the Terracotta Warriors and all the important details about the site. Situation truly...
Situation truly very chaotic, the videos online don't do it justice; at times, unmanageable. But the site is one of the most beautiful, unique, and interesting in the world. Absolutely a must-see... and grit your teeth, because of the chaos.

The number of people is overwhelming and does not allow you to really understand and savor what you are seeing, even with a guide.

Recommended!
Everything went as planned. Booking successful and a fantastic experience at the Terracotta Army! I recommend, if you are traveling in the summer, to leave very early, partly because of the heat and partly because there are so many people.

Recomending Roger!
Roger told us a lot of history. There vere just so much noice. Hardt to hear the guid through the earpiece. Would recomend Roger, but they should get better earpieces
