Great day, great guide and once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The full-day adventure was excellent. Our guide, Wendy, and driver picked us up from our hotel and everything was handled from beginning to end. Wendy has an great energy and deep knowledge of the sites. She was very receptive to all our questions. During our tour, a member of our party had a health issue that required extra attention. Wendy was very helpful and patient. She knew the sites well and was able to arrange for a wheelchair and places to rest until we could return to the vehicle. We were all very grateful for her thoughtfulness and experience. Would highly recommend her services.

Amazing Guide

A wonderful visit to a wonderful city! In just one day, we got to experience all the must sees of Xi An, including the great terracotta warriors. Wendy, our guide, was very educated and experienced, and absolutely charming throughout the whole journey. We even got insight on the local cuisine, and had lunch at a famous “biang biang” noodle restaurant, that was delicious. We definitely recommend for all wanting to discover the beautiful city of Xi An!

A 10 star tour

If I could give Wendy and her business partner, Mr. Jiang (姜), 10 stars, I absolutely would. Their service was truly top-notch and exceeded every expectation we had. Wendy has a rare ability and passion to bridge both Western and Eastern cultures, making her an exceptional guide for our bilingual Asian American family. She understood exactly what we were looking for and tailored the experience perfectly. What impressed me most was that Wendy reached out well before our China trip even began. She generously shared valuable travel advice, local insights, and practical guidance that helped us plan an amazing day in Xi’an. Her communication was outstanding from start to finish. Her tour of the Terracotta Warriors and the Bronze Chariots was incredibly well structured. Every minute was thoughtfully planned, and she made excellent use of our time. She packed in so much fascinating history and detail that we would have completely missed if we had explored on our own or joined a large group tour. She brought Chinese history to life in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. Our driver, Mr. Jiang, was equally outstanding. He was not just a safe and professional driver, but also an attentive guide. We barely had to walk any unnecessary distance because he always seemed to be waiting exactly where we needed him whenever we moved to the next stop. His coordination with Wendy was seamless and made the entire day effortless. One of the highlights of the trip was seeing how much my son learned. In just one day, his understanding of Chinese history grew tremendously. He was genuinely fascinated and deeply impressed by everything he experienced. He has traveled extensively around the world, yet this was one of the most memorable tours he has ever taken. Unfortunately, my daughter couldn’t join us this time. That simply gives us another reason to come back. When we return to Xi’an, I won’t even consider touring without Wendy. I will absolutely book with her again and recommend her to all of my friends and family. Thank you, Wendy and Mr. Jiang, for giving our family such an unforgettable experience. You made Xi’an one of the highlights of our China trip.

Great choice for a tour.

We had a great day with Wendy, after being recommended by a friend who did a tour with her last year. It was easy to organise with great communication through WhatsApp. The day was very relaxed with no time pressure at all. We were very glad we took the tour as it added a great deal to our understanding of the history and context of both the sites we visited, but also in the car and over lunch, of modern China. We were also very grateful for her recommendations for restaurants and massage spots in Xi’an which all proved to be exceptional and helped make our trip to Xi’an that much better, (And for helping us get some laundry done!) Wendy has a great approach, manner and excellent knowledge so we happily recommend her.

Wendy was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable, engaging, patient and insightful. She was able to connect philosophy, world history and geopolitics with the sites we visited and has an impressive command of the English language. Would highly recommend her to anybody who wishes to not only see Xi’an but also understand its culture and history.

A wonderful tour guide and tour!

Wendy was an amazing tour guide. She is very knowledgeable, engaging, patient, insightful and personable. Her communication skills are superb - her ability to speak English is better than most native English speakers. What a privilege to have spent the day with her and the driver, Mr. Wang. I will not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who visits Xi’an!

Absolutely Unforgettable! Becky is a superstar!

We had the most incredible time on our customized private day tour to the Terracotta Army, Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, and Huaqing Palace; and it was entirely thanks to our phenomenal guide, Becky, and our fantastic driver, John. From the moment the tour started, Becky blew us away. She is quite literally unbelievable; her depth of knowledge, warmth, and infectious enthusiasm turned what would have been a standard sightseeing trip into an unforgettable, deeply enriching experience. She brought the history to life in a way that kept us completely captivated, and she anticipated our every need before we even had to ask. She is truly a master of her craft and an absolute joy to be around. A huge thank you also goes to John, our driver. He made us feel completely safe, comfortable, and relaxed throughout the day, navigating the roads flawlessly and ensuring everything ran on perfect time. If you are booking this tour, do yourself a huge favor and ask for Becky. They are an elite team and made our trip to Xi'An truly magical!

Professionalism +compassion makes Wendy perfect!

Wendy came highly recommended by a friend of a friend. After a small hiccup, we managed to have her as our kids' English-speaking guide. Her warmth and patience were remarkable — she brought the Terracotta Warriors to life with her deep knowledge and made history easy and engaging for my children. For the first time, my two history-free kids didn't complain once (a miracle, lol). Kids don't lie — Wendy won their hearts in just one day. That takes genuine professionalism and care. We'll definitely come back when they're older. Thank you, Wendy, for a relaxing, joyful trip!
