Wonderful and extraordinary experience. Nice tour. Beautiful views. The wolfdogs are precious and cute.
Our tour guide was Kevin. He was professional, friendly and arranged the pick up place and time in advance. Kevin was knowledgeable and took the time to educate us along the way. The wolf dog sanctuary was a wonderful experience. We learned a lot about the wolf dogs and met the people who care for them. I would highly recommend this experience.
Totally enjoyed our visit to the sanctuary, the wolfdogs are amazing creatures, our guide was very informative of the wolfdogs and their history at the sanctuary. Really enjoyed when the wolves all started howling together. Second time visiting and enjoyed it more than the first.
I took this excursion as a solo, female traveler on a half day away from a work conference. It was a great experience and I was so glad I was able to experience it! Pick up and drop off was punctual and the drive was smooth. Yamnuska itself is really peaceful and I enjoyed learning about wolf dogs and the organization’s history of rescuing these beautiful animals. Would highly recommend for a quick, low-key tour
The tour in itself is an amazing experience but I had to go by myself cause out of nowhere my booking was cancelled without prior notice.
Hi Jenifer, we're happy to hear that you enjoyed the day at Yamnuska. And unfortunately, due to only one person signing up for the day, we could not drive you to the sanctuary, otherwise we would be happy to visit with you.
Amazing experience to see the wonderful work done to care for the wolfdogs. The staff are absolutely dedicated to these gentle creatures. Thank you for the opportunity to visit.
Excellent and meaningful experience. Tne team truly love the wolves and exude that in their talks. Learned so much.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It’s wonderful to hear the experience felt meaningful and that the team’s passion for the wolfdogs came through so clearly. They truly care about these animals, and it means a lot to know that this dedication helped you learn so much during your visit. We appreciate you being part of the day and hope to welcome you again.
The Shrine of the Wolves is a place where I was able to know about this species. In addition to being able to collaborate with the philanthropic work of the team. However, my tour was to be in Spanish and not English as it was. Also, the time inside the sanctuary was a maximum of 90 minutes.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed learning about the wolves and supporting the sanctuary’s work. We do want to clarify that this experience is not offered in Spanish. The tour description does not state that the visit is conducted in Spanish or Portuguese, and all activities are listed as English‑led. We understand how important language can be during a visit, and we’re sorry for any confusion that may have occurred before your arrival.
Great guides plenty of information. Wolf dogs at our show was funny. The bus was on time and it was easy ride both ways
Thank you for joining us and for sharing your experience. The wolfdogs were full of personality during your visit and it’s great to hear they brought some fun to the show.
The Wolf Dog Sanctuary was interesting and good to see the animals up close. Really only need a couple of hours to explore it. We had a confused start as the car and driver that arrived were different from what we were advised and the driver didn't get out of the car to find us.
I’m glad you enjoyed seeing the wolfdogs up close and had time to explore the sanctuary properly. It’s a special place, and two hours is usually the sweet spot for most guests. I’m really sorry about the confusion at the start of your tour. I appreciate you mentioning it so we can address it directly with our team.
