Whitewater Rafting and ATV Adventure

Both the ATV and Whitewater Rafting were awesome. Excellent fun. It is a full day, so great value for money. The staff were fantastic and took great care of us throughout the day. Would definitely do it again and would recommend this experience. The lunch was great also.

It was absolutely amazing! Mega professionally organized. From the first contact to the transfer back to the hotel. Very good and funny guides. We felt absolutely safe at all times. The equipment differed significantly from other providers. You could see that just by the helmets that the participants of other providers had on their heads when they came toward us. At 8Adventures we got reasonable full-face helmets. Even the lunch was good (which was a nice side effect for us). Ultimately, it is a highly professional provider that can absolutely keep up with European standards. It might be a bit more expensive than others, but it is worth it and it is still totally reasonably priced. We will come back!

This ATV and rafting combo was hands down one of the best things we did in Chiang Mai! The ATV quad ride was muddy, fast, and super fun, and the rafting down the river was an absolute adrenaline rush surrounded by gorgeous greenery. The entire team was professional, safety-conscious, and wildly entertaining from start to finish. Great gear, seamless transportation, and a delicious lunch included. Don't skip this if you're in northern Thailand!

This was one of the highlights of our trip, and I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organized. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel by Bob and Kera, who were both fantastic. Since the drive is over an hour each way, I highly recommend booking two activities rather than just a morning or afternoon session. We did ATV riding in the morning and white water rafting in the afternoon, which made the travel time well worth it. The ATV tour was outstanding. Along the route we passed several other ATV groups, and it was obvious that our company provided much better equipment and protective gear. The terrain was varied and beautiful—riding alongside rivers, passing an elephant sanctuary, climbing a stunning mountainside, and making our way back down through incredible scenery. The guides were excellent instructors, patient teachers, and genuinely kind throughout the experience. Lunch was included and was surprisingly delicious—I cleaned my plate. The company also provided lockers and bug spray, which were thoughtful touches that made the day even easier. The white water rafting was equally impressive. I’ve rafted many times before, but these guides were true professionals. Our guide had 27 years of experience, and the safety procedures throughout the trip were exceptional. We even encountered elephants in the river, and the guides were incredibly respectful, carefully giving them space and ensuring they were not disturbed. The facilities exceeded expectations as well. The showers offered both hot and cold water, the towels smelled wonderful, and everything was clean and well maintained. One final tip: budget for the photos. The photographers captured so many great shots throughout both activities that purchasing them was an easy decision. If you’re considering this excursion, book it. It’s professionally run, safety-focused, packed with adventure, and delivered exceptional value from beginning to end. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had an amazing day with 8Adventures. Overall very professional, safe, accommodating and fun. We originally booked just white water rafting but they let us add the ATVs. We are glad we did, it was a great time. Our group had mixed experiences levels, and we had more, so they assigned us a separate guide who took us on great trails and up to the top of a hill with beautiful views. . Haioon was an excellent guide. We saw the elephants at the sanctuary across the river and some passed us on the trail. Lunch was delicious with both chicken and vegetarian options. In the afternoon we went rafting. The safety briefing was thorough. We had safely support in kayaks and from shore for the bigger rapids. Our guide Sammy was experienced and made it a lot of fun. We floated past water buffalo cooling in the river and elephants coming for a drink. Highly recommend this outfit!

Had an awesome day out! whitewater rafting was awesome! Some decent rapids, unreal scenery and so many elephants along the river! I even had chance to swim in a stead section and literally float past an elephant in the water bathing a couple meters away! 🤯 Atv was also amazing the views up in the mountains 😍 passed so many elephants up close, loads of rutty roads little corners of mud to drift, fun little tight track section near the elephant sanctuary by the river where you can have some fun! Lunch was fresh and tasty even by fuzzy western standards fried chicken and rice always goes down well! The staff are all super friendly and helpful loads of energy and enthusiastic especially the rafting! The instructor Bank was a very professional and informative instructor! patient and clear and proper sound guy! and... Dear was an absolute legend funny as hell, very welcoming and this distinctive awesome laugh that will just bring laughter to the group ! absolute legends Thank you 🙏💌✌️
