White Water Rafting Experience in River Dee in Llangollen

Great experience- well run and can be done by all levels of ability

FANTASTIC FUN Highly recommended

We had a six people raft experience with Ozzie as our Guide white water rafting down the River Dee which was brilliant, we all agreed it was a fantastic time we had and Ozzie was very funny and made our trip down River Dee very good fun. We all enjoyed the bobbing down river minus the raft to pick it up further down, get back in and continue the ride through the rapids. Highly recommend it and will definitely be going again.

I can't convey enough what an amazing experience this was for myself and my family, the trip was to celebrate my 'dare-devil Dads' 90th birthday (who fully participated, including jumping out of the boat for some fast freestyle downriver floating!) and our guide Aaron Kendall made it very special indeed, whilst keeping a close eye on Dad yet allowing us to get the most out of the White Water Rafting experience down the river Dee, including some pretty hairy rapids. Aaron, you made a special day even more memorable so thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 5 Stars***** to you John, Zac, Ozzy and all the team at White Water Active, Llangollen

With Rory as our leader we had the best time! The experience is well organised and run. Fun and giggles and a bit of screaming- in the best possible way! Well worth doing

Wow we loved it. And now we are booking the buggy boarding ASAP!!! The staff where all fantastic. Expecially Kirnal Ozzy 😂 very experienced and super funny. Amazing experience for my hubby's birthday. Would highly recommend

Very well organised. Instructors were all good fun and wanted everyone to have a great time. All safety equipment was checked and wetsuits provided. Group changing rooms, but you could have privacy in a small shower if wanted. Rain or shine this is a great activity. Photographer captures you along the river which you can buy at the end, these are e-mailed to you. (£20 Aug 26) You do need some level of fitness.

Fantastic, inclusive family experience! We had an absolutely fantastic white-water rafting experience with Whitewater Active, joined by our grown-up children and their partners, and our grandchildren. It was such a brilliant experience for the whole family and one we’ll remember for a long time. A massive thank you to Zach, our raft leader, who was amazing with everyone, but particularly with our neurodiverse grandchild. It was clear that Zach had real experience and understanding when it came to making the experience inclusive. He was encouraging, patient and attentive, making sure everyone felt comfortable, involved and able to enjoy the adventure. It meant so much to us as a family and made the experience even more special. Highly recommended — fantastic fun, brilliant staff and a truly inclusive experience. Thank you, Zach!
