The tour always begins at the Colosseum, where you will meet your guide. Your guide offer the history of the ancient Colosseum, – the largest amphitheatre in the Roman Empire. You’ll hear fascinating stories about the violent battles which were staged there, and you’ll learn why and how it was built.
A short walk from the Colosseum will bring you to the Arch of Constantine and the Forum. The Form functioned as the main hub of the ancient city, and was the focal point of life in ancient Rome. The ruins here indicate the importance of the Forum, as a centre of religion, politics and commerce. You’ll see the Temple of Julius Caesar, built on the site of his cremation, the Arch of Titus, House of the Vestal Virgins, the Senate House, the Basilica of Maxentius and much more.
One of the most recognisable buildings in the city, Il Vittoriano, is your next stop. It was built in 1885 in honour of King Victor Emmanuel II. The impressive neoclassical building towers over the surrounding area, and it’s easy to see why it was nicknamed the “Wedding Cake” by the locals.
You’ll also see the Quirinal Palace, official residence of the current Italian President, which is located nearby.
The incredible Trevi Fountain cannot be missed, before you head to another famous spot, the Spanish Steps
The Piazza Navona is another must-see treat, with its stunning fountains
after you can stroll through Rome’s narrow streets to the Pantheon.

Tomosso was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour would recommend him to anyone. He really made an effort to include my mom who was in a wheelchair, when he was explaining things he would get down to her level to make sure she could her and see what he wanted to show us. Our guide Francesco was absoluetly fantastic! His knowledge of the sites and each of their histories was nothing short of amazing. He turned our small group excursion into a lifelong memory. He was very good at ensuring that the 2 mobility impaired ladies were given the best possible routes for their limitations. The sites themselves were evreything we had hoped they would be and even more, with the extra knowledge we got from Francesco.

Thomas was a fountain of information. He was wonderful. Seeing the Coliseum in this way was amazing. The terrain to get from place to place is difficult with a rollerator because of all the cobblestones. No one’s fault
