Tenerife's Whale and Dolphin Watching Specialists. Join our Biologist Staff for a 2 hour thrilling eco-adventure to respectfully observe the whales and dolphins in the Teno-Rasca Marine Protected area of Tenerife. Our boat is a custom built 8 meter whale watching boat with cushioned bench seats for only 11 guests. These two hour whale watching tours depart at 9:30am, 12 noon and 2:30pm from our dock, 'Pantalan No3' in the Puerto Colón Marina in the south of Tenerife. This is an educational eco-adventure with the opportunity to listen to whales and dolphins with our hydrophone, includes photos of the marine wildlife and our Sightings Guarantee. We had the most amazing morning on the water, encounters with three different groups of pilot whales some of whom chose to come over and check us out. Both Carlota and Inigo were so warm and welcoming, very knowledgeable about the wildlife but also passionate about conservation. Carlota took some photos and go pro footage of our trip so that we could enjoy seeing the whales in the moment

It was a fantastic experience. We saw and heard a lot of pilot whales (with babies) that swam around our boat and surfaced right next to it, were present for the rescue of a baby bird, and cleaned the sea of trash. 👍 top experience with respect for the animals and the environment.

We had an amazing time. The staff were friendly & knowledgeable & gave us lots of interesting information.We were a small group of 10 people & were lucky enough to see a large pod of dolphins, & some of them swam & jumped right alongside our boat. We also saw several pilot whales. It was a great trip & I would recommend it to anyone.

My partner & I went on the tour August 2026. The guides were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable & passionate. We had a great time & we're lucky enough to see a large pod of dolphins & also groups of whales. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone.
We had an amazing tour! The highlights were seeing a large group of Atlantic spotted dolphins and multiple pods of pilot whales. Our guide, Carlota, was extremely friendly and engaging. Her explanations about the whales' behaviors and nature made the whole experience unforgettable.
We did a 2 hour tour with whale watch tenerife, and we were extremely impressed by how everything was. This is not a party boat, this is for people who really want to see wildlife and learn while being respectful with the ecosystem. Little groups, a real expert biologist as your guide, and 2 fascinating hours of learning about the marine ecosystem of Tenerife and the Canary Islands. We are still in love with their phylosophy of protecting the animals through a respectful and careful approach. We want to also congratulate Ion, our guide, who made this adventure even better. He was very dynamic, easy-going, and you could tell for sure he was an expert on the topic (and a great driver as well haha). All in all, if you really want to enjoy marine wildlife from Tenerife in a respectful and educative way, go with Whale Watch Tenerife!!

I booked this whale watching excursion departing from Costa Adeje. It was a truly incredible experience. The organizers were excellent, everything was organized perfectly with clear instructions. The boat trip lasted 2 hours, a maximum of 10-12 people can participate, which makes the experience really nice because with the dinghy it is possible to get closer to the whales. We saw several pilot whales that also came very close to the boat. Ion, our guide, was really good and explained many things about these animals. Fantastic experience. Thanks again!

We had the most amazing trip today. Patiently we watched, learning about data and how marine life is recorded. And then, as a gift a pod of 15 dolphins rode in the wake of our boat, riding the bow wave, leaping in our wake. The crew were fantastic: relaxed, knowledgeable, and clearly respectful of the animals, keeping a careful distance and letting the dolphins come to us. A special mention for making our son Rollo "marine biologist for the day" — he got his own cap and shirt, helped spot the pod, and learned so much about marine life, recording data and what it is used for. He hasn't stopped talking about it since. Small boat, brilliant crew, wild dolphins on their own terms. Couldn't recommend it more — the highlight of our holiday. Thank you
