Whale Shark Encounter Full-Day all inclusive Tour from Riviera Maya

Absolutely Incredible Experience. One We’ll Never Forget from start to finish it was superb. Lifelong memories for my family. Despite being very excited, I was also very nervous about swimming in the open ocean. I needn’t have worried. The whole experience was brilliantly organised and every member of staff we met was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and genuinely lovely. Our guide, Flor, was fantastic. She made us feel safe and comfortable, explained everything clearly and was brilliant at helping us get the most out of the experience. You could tell how much she cared about both the animals and making sure everyone had an amazing day. And then came the whale sharks! On our second dive, my youngest son and I were lucky enough to see a whale shark feeding upright, which was absolutely incredible to watch. Seeing such a huge, beautiful animal so close in the water is something we will never forget. And as if that wasn't enough, we also saw a manta ray, which actually jumped completely out of the water and flipped! I couldn't believe what we were seeing. The whole day was fantastic — from the organisation and staff to the actual wildlife encounters. It was a very early start and a very long day, but absolutely worth every single minute. A massive thank you to Flor and the entire team for giving us such an unforgettable experience. We came away absolutely buzzing and will be talking about this day for a very, very long time! I highly recommend — an incredible experience, one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico and possibly ever! 🐋❤️

A fantastic experience that I have looked forward to for a long time. Eco Tours has this experience down pat and hires excellent representatives. They were very prompt to respond and gave excellent detailed instructions for what to experience. The boat ride out to the experience location can feel a little long and bumpy . We werr blessed to have over 30 whale sharks to view and swim with. The capt and crew were wonderful at getting us into amazing viewing spots. Our guide Flor was also amazing, with wonderful energy from the early , 5;30AM , pickup time till our drop off at almost 4PM. She gave us an education on the Whale sharks and instructions to make the most out of you experience. There is also some snorkeling on the return trip followed by lunch and then some time a a most beautiful beach in Isle Mujeres. We highly recommend

Best encounter of my life! I had previously done this tour in 2024 and it was great then even though there was only 1 shark around. This time however was beyond amazing. There were 6-8 sharks swimming around and when one swam off all you needed to do was turn around and another was swimming by. The guide was amazing. Only 2 people in with the guide at one time. This is so wonderful for keeping the sharks and you from feeling crowded. Along with the sharks there were mantas swimming around! Our guide Flor from pickup was a wealth of knowledge and educated us wonderfully about these magnificent animals. After the shark swim there was a reef swim that was okay then lunch on the beach at Playa Norte which is just gorgeous. About a half a day and a lifetime of memories and well worth it!!

Amazing special experience swimming with the Whale Sharks. The guide Javi Alonso and the very experienced captain and crew know their business. Lot of exposure with the whale sharks.

We absolutely loved our whale shark experience. We were picked up on time, our tour guide Roberto was great - really friendly and enthusiastic and the experience itself was incredible. There were so many whale sharks and manta rays out when we arrived. Our first swim wasn't the best because we offered to go first, our snorkels were letting water in and we didn't know how long we had in the water. Luckily, our second swim was much better and we spent a lot of time swimming alongside the animals. We enjoyed our visit to Isla Mujeres and the lunch was delicious (but make sure to have breakfast before you go because it's not a very big portion). We didn't have the best visibility for snorkeling the reef but it was still enjoyable. All in all, a bucket list experience was ticked off and we will never forget this fantastic ocean encounter.

Roberto was an amazing guide. He made sure to explain how everything would go. The group was great! The whale sharks are amazing! The food and entertainment was exceptional.

Over cool experience at some points felt a little rushed. Kids had difficulty with masks because life vests would push them off. We did see many whale sharks and manta rays. Reef was decent and the little break for lunch and swimming on the island was fun.

Not gonna lie, was super nervous but Alexandra made the experience so amazing! She had lots of information about the whale sharks and made me feel super comfortable on the boat! The actual tour was soooooooo cool. This was definitely a first for me and I’ll never forget it.
