I thought it was lovely. Had no idea so many people were interred there. Love the beauty of the stained glass. Loved the hourly prayers and opportunity to pray with the clergy. It was a lovely day and a lovely experience.

The church as we know it today was founded by Henry III in the 13th century, who ordered the demolition of Edward the Confessor’s royal palace and a monastery situated on the site. In its place, a new Gothic cathedral was built that was consecrated in 1269: From now on, by decree of the King of England, Westminster Abbey was to be a place for the coronation and burial of monarchs. - Royal Tombs, Today, over 3,000 people are buried or memorialised at Westminster Abbey, including 30 monarchs and notable historical figures such as Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Sir Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Stephen Hawking and Geoffrey Chaucer. - The Coronation Chair in St George’s Chapel is perhaps the most famous piece of furniture in the world. - Poet’s Corner - Explore the Lady Chapel & Chapter House - Royal Tombs - Unknown Warrior - Pyx Chamber - The Quire - Cloisters

It gets rather warm in side during peak season. Take pictures and enjoy all the stained glass. Lots of history.
The tour is really worth it, there are good explanations about the history. The interior is impressive.
Such a wonderful experience. The history was mind blowing. I couldn't image visiting London without touring the Abbey
This is a must see site in London. The history, the monuments, and the beautiful architecture were life changing
Travelers should not worry buying tickets/tours with Viator! Totally legitimate and very very professional and helpful!!! Traveling abroad can cause much anxiety; with Viator one has no worries! Well Done I say!
The directions as to where to enter were not very clear. Gate attendant wanted to see our tickets, but we were not sent tickets, only a voucher. When we were finally in the right line to enter, the ticket window person had our name on a list and she printed our tickets. The audio tour was not that informative. A guided tour would have been much better based on what we overheard as guides were giving their tours.
The audio was a bit confusing but staff were helpful. The Abbey is an amazing experience and I recommend to all
You need to spend several hours there to see everything. So much history! As an American, it’s hard to comprehend a history that spans over one thousand years.
Excellent, the line moves quickly and you can visit everything at your own pace with an audio guide
