This was the second your we did with hit the road having gone the east tour the week before. On this occasion Fabio was our guide and driver and again didn’t disappoint. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly and we had a great time meeting other people on the trip. The small group size meant you really did get a personal service. Brilliant and we would certainly use hit the road again.

This was a great trip. Jeff is an amazing guide who is passionate about what he does. He clearly loves Madeira and knows a lot about it. I really appreciate the fact that he stays flexible with the tour schedule so it does not feel forced or rushed. He also chooses, unlike many tour companies, less obvious and popular spots which still provide great experience and are less crowded. I wholeheartedly recommend the tour.
Everything went smooth, the people was helpful and amazing with the rent and im glad i could use their service.
A group of 6, 3 couples travelled with Vitor for the whole day. We were picked up from our hotel at 9am and dropped back at 5.30pm. Vitor asked if we knew what we wanted to see and came up with a good plan. He did not take us to overcrowded tourist spots but to better places. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable young man. Thanks Vitor for a great day. We certainly would recommend him again
We had an amazing day with Thiago on our West Madeira trip. We learned so much from him about the island’s history as well as seeing so many beautiful sights. We loved every moment of the day, saw so many special places we would never have found on our own and made memories that will last forever. We can’t wait to come back to Madeira and will be hoping for an East Madeira tour with Thiago too!
Any tour with “Hit the Road Tours” is worth it. I did the East, West, and Sunrise tour. Every tour I took exceeded my expectations. And you can’t go wrong with their prices. Each tour felt like a full day of adventure, education, stunning sights, and great stops for food/drinks. I would use this group again in the future!

Wow what a great day with Hit the Road , Vitor was a great guide so knowledgeable being a local and enthusiastic made it so personal, listening to his stories of growing up in Madeira this local knowledge of the roads and short cuts made it such a special day .
