Walking tour Nuremberg

Description
Hello and welcome to Nuremberg. As a Nuremberg native, I would be happy to present you my hometown. The focus will be on Nuremberg's "Golden Age" of the late Middle Ages with its craftsmen, traders and patricians. We visit, among other things, the main market, Kaiserburg and Tiergärtnertorplatz as well as Nuremberg's most beautiful half-timbered street. Of course, we also learn about Germany's greatest artist, Albrecht Dürer, and other personalities who shaped Franconia's capital. Unfortunately, a direct path from Nuremberg's "Golden age" leads to its romantic transfiguration and to the misuse of the city's reputation for the National Socialist "Party Rallies" and ultimately to complete destruction in the WWII. But this shouldn't be the end. The reconstruction of Nuremberg gave the city back its identity. It would be a pleasure to guide you through Nurembergs history and culture. Of course, you will receive all the information you need about your stay, including recommendations on restaurants and other sights. See you in Nuremberg.

Andres was informative and engaging. Great tour!
Andreas did a very good job! Loved his knowledge and his story telling. Do not hesistate to book this tour.
Very informative, comfortable for all age groups, interesting. Our lady who accompanied us through the old town of Nuremberg was super nice and told us a lot of anecdotes in addition to the history of Nuremberg. Always happy to do it again.
Too much standing around and showing photos of Nurenburg at Christmas time. Asking the group too many questions about food, drink, history. Not a professional tour. I walked away half way through, not exciting. I had a better time myself walking around and taking photos. This was a Free Tour, and that's all it was, it wasn't worth 1 euro. It was so bad.
Andreas spoke English very well and he was so educated about the city. He was the best tour guide I’ve had and I thoroughly enjoyed his tour. I would highly recommend this tour if you can get this guide.
Walking tours are so interactive and enjoyable. Alexandra was very open to questions and her knowledge was outstanding. She gave us a great insight into Nuremberg.
This was one of the best tours I have been on! Andres was very knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and connected well with everyone on the tour. He made a point of making it inclusive for non-native speakers without oversimplifying it for history buffs. His love of Nuremberg and his excitement to share to share it came through at every stop. Highly recommended!!!
This was a great walking tour. Nuremburg is beautiful city and Andreas kept us well informed and the stories were great. He made it very special. Thank you. Don’t forget to tip your guide at the end of the
Brilliant English tour with Andrew. Very knowledgeable and informative and perfect itinerary of the key spots of Nüremberg old town
Hermann was an excellent tour guide! He showed and told us about about the history of Nuremberg. He also helped me figure out how to navigate to the Nazi Rally Grounds after our walking tour! His PDF that he sent out before the tour was also very useful for tips on places to eat and other things to go see.
