I learned more about Hitler and WW2 than in one year of grade 10 history class. Aileen (? Spelling) was amazing! If she had video taped herself giving the tour I would have paid good money to watch it again! If I’d been in Munich longer I would have gone again!
Karen, now that is a compliment! Thanks, and Aileen will be very happy to read your review. Radius Tours.
There was some good historical content and useful local information. The meeting point was easy to find and located close to the main station. However, overall it was disappointing and poor value. If it was a tips based tour I couldn’t pay more than 20-25 Euros for family of 3. I paid almost £70 with 30% discount. * Group engagement: Eric was welcoming to fellow Americans - we’re from UK. He did not set general expectations/tour structure and breaks or how and when to ask questions. When one question was asked during the whole tour, it was clear it had not been adequately answered, but he did not check/ask her. There was also an exchange with one American family which felt like he was fishing for an invite to stay - they ducked out early. * Bringing the history to life: There were no supporting photographs or encouragement to look up relevant images on our phones. At Königsplatz, the surviving bases of the Honor Temples were not pointed out, despite the Beer Hall Putsch being part of the tour. * Delivery: I had to really, really strain to hear Eric throughout the tour. He did not project his voice, and when there was significant background noise with another group, he did not wait or adjust the group’s position. At one point the group stopped near the end of the tour pointing out restaurants etc and had to dodge an enthusiastic street cleaning vehicle twice. * Tone and humour: There was a generally icky, dated and gendered quality to some of the language/off-topic comments and way too much personal information volunteered. Detailed feedback already provided to Radius.

The admin of the tour was spot on, prior to and during the tour. As for the guide, Jake, simply the best tour guide we’ve ever experienced; very knowledgable, personable and helpful. The third Reich tour was very interesting and would highly recommend

This is not the easiest topic to navigate and our guide Sarah totally rocked. Her passion truly rang in her presentation and knowledge of this topic blew my mind. What most impressed me was her willingness to have Inuit from others who may know something about the topic of discussion and to ask questions. She was engaging for the entire time and the subtle details you will learn will surprise you.
Sarah does rock!!! Thanks so much for such a wonderful review on your 3rd Reich tour! We hope to see you again next time :)
Fantastic guide. Very informative and learnt a lot more than I expected.
Caitlyn, thanks so much for your five stars review!
