It was a great experience. History woven with the spooky stories. Guide was great, friendly and knowledgeable was able to answer questions, even some that weren’t part of the tour. Perfect amount of time spent, not too long where you feel overwhelmed and not too short where you feel like it wasn’t worth it.
Great tour - learned Newport history and some spooky stories. Make sure everyone in your party is ready to actually walk! Isabel was a great guide and we had a lot of fun.

Not a lot of “ghost” stories. Some pirate and basic history that was interesting. Our guide occasionally talked while looking ahead and I couldn’t hear a thing she was saying in the back.
Thank you for the review. In the future our guide will be wearing a voice amplifier when the group is large. You are correct that our tour is history heavy. We take pride in the fact that our ghost stories are true and not exaggerated for effect. We have 16 distinct locations and 11 have a ghost encounter in it's story. Be able and prepared to walk long distances. I know this seems obvious by the title but partly that was with us had to leave early because they were not able to walk the long distance. It’s is lovely 90 minute evening experience. Robert, our guide, was knowledgeable and fun to talk to. He had great stories about the local lore and area. Highly recommend. Looking to book one of his day time trolley tours when we return next year.
We loved that our guide shared not only ghost stories but did a deep dive into history which we appreciated.
It was very interesting and historical but not as spooky as I thought it would be. We would have liked more ghosts stories. But overall we enjoyed it very much. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Great night 🙂
