A must do when you visit Wellington
The tour and the scars & scrapes workshop was amazing... the cut I made on my hand fooled a lot of people for the remainder of the day as they thought it was real and I needed to go to the hospital to get it sutured up.
Operator response
Kia Ora,
Thank you for this amazing review! We love hearing that the Scars & Scrapes workshop was such a hit, and that your handiwork was convincing enough to fool people for the rest of the day, that's exactly the kind of realism we hope guests walk away with!
Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us, we hope to welcome you back again soon.

Interesting tour and great guide.
Very enjoyable peek behind the scenes of how Weta's artists create movie magic. My guide Sam, was engaging about the exhibitions and was patient in answering questions.

Weta tour trip
Interesting . Group timed guides into the worshop. Saw many props from many films and series . Done a very quick workshop using just foil! Not enough time to do much. Hoping to see some special effects make up and the line but none available that day although we did have an explanation on how they do the prothestic masks. It was good but very quick tour of 1 hour 30 mins . Recommend for lord of the rings fans as lots of props .
