Antonio guide to the castle of beauty in ischia
Me and Norman my partner had amazing tour to the castle in ischia wirh Antonio Our tour guide. He was just the best, really took care of us and was very knowledgeable about the history it was one of the best tours we have had. Bless Antonio he had a lot of elderly Italian tourists they were funny, he had the patience of a saint

Great castle - less than great tour
The castle is amazing. The tour, not so much. The guide was overwhelmed by the 28 people in the group, and not all spoke English on a tour in English. The guide’s English was sufficient for the tour, but not for more difficult questions. His voice was not loud enough for 28 people, especially to compete with the non-English who were talking while the guide was. He was nice, but that did not offset the problems. The pace was agonizingly slow to accommodate the slowest. Some on the tour were not in the shape needed to make the type of climb this castle demands. People started dropping out half way. I dropped out towards the end to enjoy he rest of the castle at my own pace.

Very nice and interesting place
Absolutely worth visiting. Also the cozy cafe (in the middle of the castle) with sweet and friendly cafe workers. But the waiters in the wine bar at the top of the castle were kind of rood and served wine that had been opened several days ago

Highly recommended
This was one of the most interesting, informative tours that we've done. Antonio was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He gave us an excellent overview of the history of the island and the castle with some amusing anecdotes thrown in. We had a really good experience, from pick up to drop off at the hotel.

A visit to a historic castle complete with details about its past & navigating the Italy of today
Once we figured out the confusion about the pick up point all was excellent. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the castle, it's history and the island of Ischia itself. We felt fortunate to have such an excellent guide
