Visit in Freedom Aragonese Castle Ischia, with PDF Guide

Tour guide did not show up. When called we were told that it was NOT A GUIDED TOUR, but self guided…not so as my paper work states ENGLISH SPEAKING GUIDE, group is to meet at Coco Restaurant at 3pm…guided tour was to be for 2hrs followed by meeting of local fisherman to hear about fishing in Ischia……very disappointed & requesting full refund of our ticket purchase….will never use Viator again!!! Ended up walking through Arogonese Castle with little information of what we were viewing!!!

We booked this months ago. Waited and waited for our guide that never showed up. I tried to get in touch with the company myself and had no luck so I had Viator reach out and they got disconnected and then the company would not answer their phone calls - now I am waiting on my refund. Definitely disappointed.

Beautiful castle that Aragonese Ischia. The island in the island a castle surrounded by greenery and surrounded by the sea, accessed by a masonry bridge reaches a height of 113 netri s.l.m. and covers an area of about 56,000 square meters. It is structured as a medieval village where we can visit houses, churches, defensive structures and gardens. During the winter some points are not accessible to the public. Beautiful and recommended.

The guided tour of the castle was a wonderful experience; the expert guide accompanied us along the way explaining the history of the castle in an engaging way with anecdotes, legends and curiosities. We highly recommend it!!!

It was an amazing experience, just a warning though, there were a lot of stairs. There is an elevator, but you would miss much of the tour. The castle was so well preserved, to actually be where Michelangelo visited was exciting. If you’re in reasonably good shape, you shouldn’t have a problem.
