This tour was amazing, we´ve learned so much about Colosseum history (including that its original name it is not Colosseum...hahahahaa). The only observation I have is about the meeting point. In the voucher they mention that the meeting point is at Via Del Forum Imperiale, but as soon as arrived there, they told me to go to the subway station (a 10 minute walk).
Claudia was able to make a memorable experience for us visiting the Colosseum. She balanced historical perspectives and culture, her delivery was engaging and memorable. Highly recommend Claudia.
Our family visited Italy in August of this year. We have 16 and 19 year old sons and used Bruno Tours for our guides for the Vatican tour one day and the Colosseum/Ancient Ruins tour the next day. It was the absolute best decision we made. The tour guide met us at the location provided by Bruno tours and we completely skipped the long line of tourists waiting to enter. We learned a great deal more then we would have if we had been in a group. We had one on one access to our tour guide to ask questions and interact. Italy is very crowded and busy during the summer and I could see that with the group tours it would have been difficult to hear with the headphones and the large groups. Truly a memorable experience and we will use Bruno Tours again on our next trip to Italy!
If you truly want to be entertained at the same time getting knowledge you must take any of his tours . david@davidsrome.com we took his pantheon and Forum tour last year and loved it do much took them again this year . Their a husband and wife team offering several Different types of tours. Well worth the money, A LOT cheaper then Viator.
Our family of four had an outstanding tour with Tomasso. He's a very knowledgeable guide and very pleasant to be around. I would highly recommend Bruno Tours.
Bruno Tours has worked with my groups with the most professional and outstanding guides for all the tours we used them for in Rome and Florence. The Vatican City, Colosseum, Ufizzi Museum, Food Tasting tour and tour to Pompeii. I recommend this tour company for any of your tours.

We did the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill private tour through Bruno Tours. Our guide, Marta, was an incredible well of information and knew her history very well. The day before the tour she made sure we had all the necessary information for the meeting. On the day she was extremely well organised and we skipped the lines in all of the locations and somehow had the best spots for enjoying the scenery and taking photos. Her knowledge of the ancient Rome history was impressive and we appreciated her sense of humour as well. If you are planning a trip to Rome Marta is your guide.
Hi Stefanella, thanks for your nice review. Glad you enjoyed Marta and our tour. Hope to see you again once you're back in Italy. All the best from the staff at Bruno Tours
