We were really happy with our free city tour in Lyon, especially because of our guide Paul! He was incredibly enthusiastic and knows how to keep a large group interested from start to finish. Because the group was quite large, we were a little worried it might be difficult to follow, but Paul was perfect for it. He is tall, easy to spot, and made sure everyone could hear and keep up with the tour. We were a group of friends on a girls’ trip and absolutely loved it! 💕 We would definitely recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your stay in Lyon. Paul gave us some really great tips for places to visit, and honestly: go to his recommendations! We visited a few of them afterwards and they were absolutely worth it. Paul was absolutely fantastic. His local and historical knowledge was second-to-none and it was obvious right from the start that he loves what he does and loves Lyon. This was more than your stock standard tour; it was like a personal invitation into Paul’s world - including his favourite places, restaurants and coffee places. Even though there were at least 30 others booked in with us, we felt like we were on a small group tour. I wish we’d had time to do his other tour as well - and I would 100% do the same one again. Have told all my friends not to bother with other tours.
We have done lots of walking tours in Europe and Paul was an excellent guide. He knew his history and local stories, communicated well and kept the large group moving. He also provided several recommendations for restaurants etc which we followed up and they were excellent😊

A very insightful and fun tour of the Old Town and city. Gives you a very good range of information and history of the city throughout the ages! His passion for the city and living here is really contagious and transfes to the group! Highly recommended
Wonderful experience learning all the facts about Lyon and it was not too long. Loved all the bits and tips for us to experience the city after the tour. The leader was phenomenal. We had a family with stroller and he accommodated us well.
