To start the class we will enjoy the special herbal tea and hear the stories behind the popular cafés of Vietnam and their connection to the history and culture
Though it is brewed using a surprisingly low tech technique, with a little metal filter called a Phin (a version of the French press), the flavor is truly rich and deep. This class will make sure that you can work with our filter and the Secret Recipe of the master to make our beautiful coffee at home.
In this class you will learn about the process of coffee from crop to cup: Learn the steps needed to roast dark beans so that they mix perfectly with sweet condensed milk, which is an improvisation made due to the limitations on the availability of fresh milk at French colonial time.
We will make 5 different types of coffee :
- Traditonal black coffee
- Vietnamese happy white coffee
- Hue Imperial Salt coffee
- Ha Noi Capital Egg coffee
- Fresh coconut coffee
Enjoy your coffee with a cookie and Vietnamese Tea.

Local Vietnamese Coffee
Had an excellent time with Lin, Vy, and Zun. Family owned business, very friendly and welcoming. So cheap for a fantastic experience of real, local Vietnamese coffee. You get to make and taste all the coffee yourself, while wearing amazing aprons. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Hoi An.

A Vietnam highlight.
An incredible family run business, the workers are so friendly and attentive. The coffee we made was as good as I’ve had in Vietnam - I couldn’t believe I was the one that made it! Great fun for a few hours and left extremely thankful that we managed to experience this in Vietnam. 10/10 experience and thank you to the family !!

Fabulous experience with the lovely hosts
The class was so much fun, all the hosts were super friendly and kind. We learnt all about the history of the different coffees we learnt to make. Definitely don’t drink any coffee before you come to this class as you’ll drink a lot of it here, and it is very strong!
