Cooking Class with Basket Boat, Coffee & Lantern Making Class

Description
Our tour stands out by combining multiple authentic local experiences into one seamless journey. From cruising through the Bay Mau Coconut Forest on a traditional basket boat to hands-on activities like making Vietnamese coffee with a phin filter, crafting your own Hoi An lantern, and cooking local specialties with a skilled chef — every moment is interactive and meaningful. Unlike standard tours, we focus on real cultural immersion. You don’t just watch — you participate. You connect with local traditions, learn directly from experienced locals, and create your own products to take home. All activities take place in a peaceful eco-setting at Phu Lanh, offering a more personal, less crowded atmosphere. With small group sizes, friendly guides, and a well-organized schedule, the experience feels relaxed, engaging, and truly memorable.

This was the best value for money combining a number of activities. Couldn’t rate it highly enough. Particularly loved the lantern making and the cooking was fun and the food delicious. Very surprised for that price that they also pick you up and drop you off. Couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend.
Excellent afternoon which ticks all the boxes of coconut boats, coffee making, lantern making and cooking class. Intense hours but fun and informative. You eat at the end, so don’t go starving but crackers and water are offered. Lanterns are not easy but the excellent help ensures you take home a nice souvenir. Lovely set of chopsticks given at the end as a gift.
