The Bridge of Sighs is a bridge in Venice, Italy. The enclosed bridge is made of white limestone, has windows with stone bars, passes over the Rio di Palazzo, and connects the New Prison to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace. It was designed by Antonio Contino, whose uncle Antonio da Ponte designed the Rialto Bridge. It was built in 1600.

Venice tour cusom-made for us
We were in Venice with a larger tour group, but decided to hire a private guide to fill in some free time without replicating activity already on our agenda. Monica worked around our existing agenda to come up with an interesting walking tour and show us places we wouldn’t have otherwise gone to on our own. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Her English was excellent. She also steered us to a restaurant we wouldn’t have found on our own, which turned out to be fantastic. We highly recommend her.

I cannot recommend this...
I cannot recommend this tour enough. Monica our tour guide went above and beyond in order to cater towards myself and my husband who had just flown in on that day. She was friendly, and extremely knowledgeable - a born storyteller. I was captivated by the history of Venice and thanks to Monica walk away feeling there are places I want to explore more a knowing several aspects of history within Venice. Such an amazing experience - cannot recommend it enough. I would recommend this to be towards the start of your holiday here in Venice.

Great private tour with a local guide
We booked an early morning tour for two hours. Michele the guide was brilliant. He was very knowledgeable, a local who had grown up and lives in Venice. He took us to lots of hidden parts of Venice and we avoided all the crowds. It was so worth doing!

Fantastic Private walking tour in Venice
We took this tour in Venice, we only take private tours and we tried tò visit as kuch as we could. The guide Rossella has been fantastic, sharing tips, history details and great food recommendation.

Beautiful, informative day in Venice.
This was a private tour for our group of 7. Our guide, Emanuele was excellent. He was so knowledgeable and explained many details. He also gave us suggestions of places to eat. We would highly recommend this tour.
