Soroush was not a native but a history major who had a great deal of Venetian historical knowledge. He went out of his way to personalize the tour for us and accommodate our groups specific needs. He really looked out for us ! I strongly recommend this as a great way to orient yourself to Venice.
On a recommendation from my coworker I booked a private walking tour of Venice ending with a gondola ride. Sherry was our tour guide: friendly, flexible with the start time, punctual and super informative. Her knowledge on the history of Venice was amazing- the churches, architecture, food, BRIDGES, campos etc. Sherry is a great photographer as well! The gondola ride gave us a different perspective of the city and very enjoyable. Well worth the price for approximately 3 hours from beginning to end in a beautiful city♥️
The Venice walking tour and Gondola ride was excellent. We enjoyed the detailed information from our tour guide Sherry and truly enjoyed learning all the history of Venice and St. Peter and Napoleon.
Awesome way to see Venice. Sherry was our guide. She was extremely personable, punctual, well experienced, very knowledgeable, engaging, understanding, a pleasure to experience Venice with. Enjoyed the walking tour and various opportunities to see what the city has to offer. Sherry made the experience worth while and provided an awesome set of memories.
This tour proved to be an exceptional experience. Over approximately 3.5 hours, participants gained extensive insights into Venice and its rich history. Our guide, Reza, demonstrated remarkable knowledge and a personable demeanor, significantly enhancing our inaugural visit to Venice.
Fari was excellent - v knowledgeable, patient, answering all questions, being flexible with her time and our needs. Overall - a great experience. Highly recommend her
We had a lovely informative tour with Soroush. It was a very hot day and some of the spots were closed but he was able to show us a lot of interesting behind the scene sites!
The tour guide was very understanding
Rona was a great tour guide. So passionate about history and letting us know the famous paintings in the churches and the history of the buildings. I really enjoyed her. She was flexible and did not rush us at any point. She gave us her suggested restaurants and we tried one after the tour and it was really good (Dolphin). She even stopped for a much needed drink to refresh us in the 90+ degree heatwave here in August. The gondola ride was really nice but kinda short only 20 minutes. Don’t expect them to sing to you, they say that only really happens in Las Vegas.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear how much you enjoyed Rona’s passion for Venice’s history, art, and architecture. We’ll definitely share your lovely comments with her! We’re also sorry that the gondola ride was shorter than expected. The gondola service is provided independently by a local operator, and we simply arrange the service as part of the tour. Unfortunately, the duration of the ride is determined by the gondola operator and is therefore beyond our control. We completely understand your disappointment and truly appreciate your understanding. Thank you again for choosing us and for sharing your experience. We hope to welcome you back to Italy soon!
We booked gondala ride with private walking tour in Venice and our tour guide Soroush was AMAZING!! He went above and beyond. I had asked to change our pick up / meeting location to our hotel and he was happy to do so. He provided so much information and is very knowledgable. There were a few places I wanted to stop in and he encouraged that which was so nice. He was so thoughtful and went at a great pace! If you can get him as your tour guide you will not be disappointed. The gondala ride was nice however it was suppose to be 30 minutes and it ended up being just shy of 20 minutes, HOWEVER it was not Soroush who gave this tour, so don’t let this deter you. We will be back again in the future and will request Soroush!
