With roughly 70,000 works preserved in twenty-two separate collections, the Vatican Museums are a chance to admire the extraordinary masterpieces displayed in the 7 km of halls and corridors. Discover it all on a breathtaking 2.3H tour through medieval and Renaissance paintings, amazing galleries such as the Tapestry Gallery with the magnificent Resurrection of Christ, and the 120-metre-long Map Gallery, the largest geographical representation ever made. We will also visit the Borgia apartment, the Raphael's rooms and, of course, Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel.
This is undoubtedly the most famous part of the museum, and represents one of the most extraordinary artistic achievements in the world. It is indeed here that Michelangelo demonstrated all his art and creativity, where the artist had to paint more than 300 figures in 5 thousand square metres! With the Last Judgement, the Creation of Adam and the different scenes from Genesis, the Sistine Chapel is a sacred, evocative, impressive and extraordinary place.

Poor organization and disappointing experience I was very disappointed with this tour. It started later than scheduled, which set a bad tone for the day. The headphones provided were of very poor quality, making it almost impossible to hear the guide’s commentary clearly. To make matters worse, the guide lacked patience and seemed disinterested in the audience, often moving ahead without checking if the group was following. For the price paid, I expected much better.

Regarding the audio devices: inside the Vatican Museums the radio system is provided and managed by the Museums and the quality we are experiencing is usually particularly good. However, if the headset/radio were not working properly, we encourage guests to always inform the guide immediately. In fact, replacement devices are always available so we can fix any technical issue during the tour, not after. About the organization and timing: according to our records, the group departed as scheduled. Please note that security checks and the internal flow inside the Museums can sometimes cause small delays that are outside of our direct control, even with timed tickets. Finally, we would like to add that we did not receive any other negative feedback for that specific tour/day, and not about that guide. The company that runs this tour was great to book with. Do to a scheduling snafu, we lost our oringal tour and so had to book another at the last minute. This company was able to get us in the next day and they were SUPER communicative and helpful. We got in ahead of the line, which was great. The tour goes through the busiest part of the museums. Then into the Sistine Chapel, and then into the square where one can enter into the Basilica. The guide was helpful to show us how to get back into the other museums, which we chose to do. So all that was great. Things that could have been better. Our guide spoke fast with a strong accent and was difficult to understand. The audio receivers we used were placed directly on one ear only (not headphones), and so it was very difficult to hear over the radio because the place was so noisy. I put my own earphone into my other ear to help block out the sound. It helped, but still wasn't great. As I said the guide was helpful and good, but hard to understand. Improving the headset situation would make it a much better experience.
Terrific and informative tour. This tour hits all the highlights of Vatican City and it also gives you free time to explore St. Peter's Basilica on your own. It's a wonderful experience that I highly recommend.
It was convenient to do a small group tour, lugguge storage, and transfer to the airport. It was our last day and needed to store stuff after our hotel required us to check out and didn’t provide luggage storage themselves.
I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing this company is!! I contacted Cristina from Canada when I was planning my pilgrimage from Assisi to Rome through a referral made on an FB page I belong to. I needed luggage transported and stored for the 9 days we were trekking. She answered immediately with a thorough response and quote. By the time we finished corresponding I had booked, not only luggage transport and storage, but a Vatican tour, Hop-on Hop-off Bus tickets, and a taxi ride to the airport hotel! She remained in contact with me the entire 2 1/2 weeks of our adventure ensuring all was in place, on time and up to our expectations. Truly, everything far exceeded our expectations...including prices! Excellent!!! Best agency ever, very well located in the center of Rome, very close to Termini station. They help us with the Vatican visit,Hop on Hop Off bus, suitcase storage for the first hours, we booked our taxi to the airport in few minutes for a very good price. All the staff speak fluent spanish, english.... Claudia and the rest of girls crew were amazing. We absolutelly recomend them.

The tour was supposed to start at 11, after getting to the meeting location, we were told that it’s booked through another tour company and that we have to go to a new location just to find out that their English tour doesn’t start until an hour later. It was especially difficult for us because of our young children. Our tour guide had a very thick Italian accent that was incredibly difficult to understand. All in all, I do not recommend this tour.
