Valencia Private City Kickstart Tour

We met our guide, Luciana, and had a very enjoyable tour with her! She not only showed us places of history and interest, but also recommended various food spots and places to see on our own. She is lovely, with great sense of art and architecture.

Nice, short walking tour of the old historic part of city. Our guide was friendly, considerate and knowledgeable.

Valencia was amazing, Our Guide Mike was a wonderful host who had a huge agenda for us but was able to modify it to accommodate my disability without losing any part of the experience. He was kind, very knowledgeable and easy to spend time with. It was a very hot and crowded day in town and he made it his business to keep us away from the mobs and heat. I would go with him on any tour as would my companions. That says it in a nutshell compared to the 2 previous disasters we took with you. Do your homework people!, Check other tours and companies. A 33% positive is not nearly good enough, meaning that 2 out of 3 of our tours were worthless. We couldn't even go on one because the Viatour advisor didn't know what she was selling. She sold us what we thought would be a fun experience 10-20 minutes from our ship. We couldn't go because the taxi driver said the pick up point was 60 minutes away and a fare of $125. Add this to the $250 we paid for the tour, and another 250 in cab fare this would have made any trip from the ship a bargain. What you also need to know is that it is close to impossible to reach Viatour by phone, and if you are away and in a foreign country, put What's App on your phone and have anyone whom you would like to speak with put it on their. It's a free app and the connections are so much better than regular cell/ and their texts are encrypted for privacy and safety. You can do audio and video calls. No $$$ is involved. Advisors are salespeople who just read the brochures to you. They do not know the product.

We had a fascinating morning with María, an expert in history, art and architecture. Her English is excellent and she listened to what we wanted to explore. Can’t recommend her and this private tour highly enough. The perfect introduction to the beautiful city of Valencia.

Mike was very knowledgeable and packed a lot into our 90 minutes with him. Easy to spend time with and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the best way to spend 3 days in Valencia while learning interesting historical facts . Great tour.

Thank you Maria for your effort to make the walk to be remembered, strongly recommended. I am not so into Churches, so Maria took me on a nice stroll through the city.

With only two days in Valencia we wanted a family friendly tour to show us some of the key and hidden sights of the area. Maria was wonderful with the kids and showed us alot of sights in the city that we wouldn't have otherwise stumbled across. We learned about some of Valencia's traditions, explored a historic bakery, and learned about the street art amongst other interesting topics. She was great with our girls as well who where 5 and 7. Thanks Maria!

My mother, my sister and I had a tour of old valencys with Cesar. He clearly loved to share his knowledge of the city with tourists. He answers questions, tells you stories and makes it a memorable experience. He also gave us some Paella recommendations and other places to eat! All excellent! I would recommend Cesar very highly!
