The beauty of a private driving tour is the flexibility it gives you to see the sights which interest you the most. We have a recommended route but the itinerary is totally flexible so if you would prefer to spend longer in a place you like or add an attraction which interests you then we can accommodate you. Our private tours last seven hours and can start and finish at the location of your choice. The starting time for the tour is flexible and we can collect you from anywhere in Oxford. The tour is ideal for a day trip from London and the most cost/time effective option is to take a direct train from London Paddington to Oxford station. Great Tew
A fairy-tale village of thatched cottages and beautiful landscapes that is away from the tourists. The home of several famous characters and the future home of royalty.
Stow-on-the-Wold Market Square
The centre of the wool trade in the Cotswolds. Here you'll have time to browse among honey-coloured buildings, cosy pubs, narrow streets, interesting shops and tiny tea rooms.
Our next stop is the picturesque village of Lower Slaughter, one of the most romantic villages in the Northern Cotswolds and set in the most amazing countryside. Larger vehicles are not allowed into this village.
Bourton on the Water
Our next stop is arguably the most famous Cotswolds town and regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in England; Bourton-on-the-Water. Known as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds' there is plenty to see and do with a wealth of attractions, shops, restaurants and tea rooms. Here you have free time to explore and enjoy some lunch.
Burford
On route we go through some enchanting Cotswold villages to the town of Burford, often called the 'Gateway to the Cotswolds'. A very iconic town and home to one of the most beautiful and ancient churches in the region. Stories aplenty!
St Mary's Church
Travelling along the stunning Windrush Valley visiting hidden villages including Swinbrook. One of the most secluded villages and home of the notorious Mitford Sisters.
Minster Lovell Hall & Dovecote
A real highlight of the tour which boasts plenty of Cotswold stone and thatched roofs, as well as holding the title of being the region's most haunted village. Minster Lovell is perhaps best known for the ruins of its 15th century hall, owned by generations of the Lovell family. A true hidden gem!

Fun day with interesting stops
Very nice day in a small group. The name 'undiscovered' is a bit exaggerated. Bourton on the water in particular seems like a small Disney park, too bad. Fine guide / driver.

Wonderful experience
It was a perfect trip. Our tour guide , Sonya was excellent in her knowledge and hospitality. She took good care of all of us and the itinerary was very well planned. We got sufficient time to explore the beautiful Cotswolds. Overall, I had a lovely day.

Informative Tour of the Cotswolds!
Really fun experience with Ian! He was really passionate and knowledgeable about all the Cotswolds villages. He was also very personable and was able to have everyone get well acquainted with each other and get along. We also were able to go to some places that other larger groups cant because we were in a smaller van. The only suggestion I’d have is that the last village was really private, so there wasn’t too much we saw there that we didn’t see elsewhere. Would definitely recommend to friends!

Ian was a superb host and this was an excellent tour
Ian was a superb host and the towns he picked to show us and the information he gave us just made the whole experience wonderful! I've been to the Cotswald's several times before, my friends never had been. This was new places and (off the beaten path👌) information along with tried and true favorites that you need to see if you've never been there before. I learned a lot I hadn't known before and they were charmed by the Cotswald's (as everybody is 💖)

A great day
This was the first private tour I’ve ever booked, and we had a wonderful time! We were able to choose which villages to go to, go at our pace, extend time when we needed, even stopped to look at birds and sheep. Our guide Andy was so knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. He provided excellent commentary and answered all our questions.

A Perfect Way to Discover the Cotswolds
Our encounter with Undiscovered Cotswolds was fantastic. With gorgeous villages, breathtaking countryside, and intriguing local tales, the tour felt intimate, laid back, and wonderfully timed. Our guide was amiable, informed, and obviously enthusiastic about the region. Instead of being on a tour, it was more like exploring with a local friend. Strongly advised for anyone wishing to visit the authentic Cotswolds!

Andy was our guide and was absolutely amazing! It was our first trip to the Cotswolds and Andy made it a special day for us. His insights, deep knowledge of local and regional history were incredible and made it an engaging and fabulous trip for us! We loved every minute of it!

We had a wonderful tour with our guide Sonya. It was just my husband and I, and Sonya drove us to various towns in the Cotswolds. We walked around and Sonya told us interesting stories about the various towns, buildings and churches.
