Terrible!
Our bus from Citavecchio was supposed to leave at 7 am for Rome. We were meant to arrive at 9:00 am- perfect for the tour. However, the bus did not leave from the port until 8:30 am. Got to Rome at 10 am- no time to make the tour.
Tried calling the number for cancellation on the bus to Rome many times BUT NO ONE ANSWERED!!!! Finally had to figure out how to send a text that we could not make it.
Why doesn't Trip Advisor or Viator answer their phones on the morning of the trip????

Hi Jan, not sure why you posted this here. You are not reviewing us as a company and a supplier of this particular tour, you are reviewing the platform. You never experienced our tour. Then you also got refunded as we were contacted by Viator customer support with your refund request and agreed with granting you a partial refund keeping only the fee we spent for your admission tickets to the venues included on the tour. Alas, those are non refundable fees as tickets for those places need to be e purchased in advance. I guess it must be frustrating for you but imagine our frustration as a supplier that needs to pay guides and cover plenty of other expenses. We had the good will to reimburse you. Maybe you should take this review off as it’s not really relevant to us and what actually happened?

Fabulous Underground tour
My husband and I did the Ultimate Undeground tour In Rome and it was amazing. Dimitri was wonderful, great historian and funny too. I highly recommend this tour

Fantastic tour - and a great treat "off the beaten path"
From beginning to end, we were impressed with the stories about the ancient life found underground. Justin clearly has extensive study of Rome and her history. It was an absolute pleasure to share the morning with him. (and get away from the crowds!)

Fantastic Tour!
My wife and I loved this tour! Justin is very knowledgeable, it’s clear he has a passion for the history and culture of Rome. The pace was perfect to absorb all the history he discussed of the various places and things we toured. Highly recommend, exceeded expectations.

Ultimate Underground Tour is the Ultimate!
Justin is an exceptional guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about ancient Roman history and how it impacted societal norms and practices. His delivery is very engaging giving you a wonderful perspective of ancient Roman life without it ever seeming like a history lesson. He makes it so interesting that you don’t even realize that you are, in fact, getting a history lesson. Thé tour is fascinating. Well worth it.

Amazing Tour, not to be missed!
We loved our Tour with Justin! He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about sharing interesting facts and history. We really felt like we experienced the history and came away with new understandings of the complex interplay of cultures. We would strongly recommend this tour and Justin. It was also a wonderful opportunity to get away from the crowds.
