Ultimate Blue Falls Canyoning Adventure: 4 Rappels & Hidden Pools

Welcome and preparation: When you arrive at the meeting point, you will meet our certified guides, who will deliver all the necessary technical equipment: wetsuit, harness and helmet. Before you start, you will receive a safety talk and a full explanation about the descent techniques and the rules we will follow throughout the adventure. 2. Road to the canyon From the parking lot we will transfer in a short vehicle tour to the canyon access. From there we will begin a hike of approximately 15 to 20 minutes through the tropical forest until we reach Quebrada Gata : Blue Falls, where the adventure begins.

Road to the canyon : Enjoy a short transfer overlooking, weather permitting, Poás Volcano National Park and Juan Castro Blanco National Park. Then we will hike 15 to 20 minutes until the start of the canyon.

Learn the descent technique in a practice rappel to gain confidence before the main rappels. Descend a stunning 25-meter waterfall and, at the end, enjoy an optional natural slide.

Descend 23 meters combining a short stretch of rappel with an exciting zipline. This is one of the most iconic places on the tour, where two rivers come together to create the breathtaking sky-colored waters that make Blue Falls famous.

Tour a section full of turquoise pools and natural slides. We’ll pause for a snack while you relax and take in the breathtaking scenery surrounding the canyon.
