Two reef discovery dives with professional instructor (no experience necessary)

Just completed our tenth dive with Tank Ha And can’t say enough good things about them. Scuba diving was on our bucket list and our dive guide, Josh, did a great job training these two 60-year-old newbies how to scuba dive. We did six dives in March to get our open water certification and had so much fun we came back this August to do some relaxing fun dives. On the last day we took a boat across to Cozumel to dive at Santa Ana reef and what an amazing time! So much sea life! Lots of stingrays, lionfish, moray eels, huge angelfish, beautiful corals, and even had a 6 foot nurse shark swim within a foot of us! Can’t wait to go back in November! Thanks for helping us get to see a whole new world. Highly recommend them both for service and cost!

Had a great experience with a very knowledgeable and experienced driving instructor. Started out the trip in a pool to get comfortable and to learn a couple basics, took an hour break, and then went on two dives. Got to see some cool fish (three turtles for example) and coral but my friend and I definitely had a great time and I would highly recommend. Also, it was nice talking to the owner and hearing his recommendations on food in the area.

The training was very good and our instructor assisted us a lot. The day was enjoyable although the weather was a bit miserable, but were under the sea so it didn’t matter haha

The review has been pending for a while. I injured myself while diving, and everyone at the dive shop was incredibly helpful. The owner took me to the doctor and even helped me out financially since I didn’t have enough cash. I truly appreciate all their support.

I went diving with my boyfriend, it was our first time diving. Tank-ha were very proffessional and helpful. We had Boris as our instructor and she was very knowledgable. Very good introduction and info to know what we were in for. It felt very safe to dive with her as it was our first time. We had a great experience and would recommend!

They were great. I am a certified diver but my wife isn't, so it was a great experience for both of us. I hadn't been diving in awhile so it was a nice refresher for me and a great introduction for her. I would definitely recommend Tank Ha, and we will probably be back soon for another dive trip. Just wish I would've taken some pictures down there.

It was a fantastic activity. Being only 2 people the instructor (Boris) was able to dedicate all the necessary time in the pool to be able to develop the activity in the best possible way and to enjoy it to the maximum. Once in the sea, we made two dives in which we could see a lot of specimens of the area, such as parrotfish, blankets,... She was always attentive to us, our needs and giving us tips to enjoy to the fullest. Thanks to this experience we have encouraged ourselves to get the certificate and next year we will repeat with this company without hesitation.

Fantastic experience! The instructor I had was a great teacher and it was obvious he really enjoyed what he was doing. He took great care with the morning learning session; he was very patient and thorough. There were two dives in the afternoon, and I had great difficulty getting comfortable out in the ocean on the first dive. Rather than being a problem for the whole group, I went back to the boat and missed out on the first dive. For the second dive, my instructor literally took me by the hand and spent the time with me getting me comfortable and successfully getting me to dive. I can't thank him enough for the care and the support he gave me to make sure I not only dove, but got the most out of the experience. An hour under the sea (two if you don't chicken out like me) 15 meters or so deep, swimming in schools of fish...it's an experience I'll never forget and am eager to do again. I highly recommend this facility to anyone wanting to try scuba diving. The care and commitment I experienced that helped me achieve this goal is bare none. So grateful for the instructor and the experience. I highly recommend this - just do it! Thanks fellas! Great time!!

It was my and my husband’s first time to do scuba diving. We had a great time. Great instructor and guide. I will do it again! Maybe certificate program next time!

Had a fantastic experience! The team was friendly and professional, and my guide was incredibly patient and clear when teaching, which made me feel confident and safe throughout the dive. Highly recommend, especially for beginners or anyone brushing up their skills!
