Description
Kitchen has always been the fulcrum of this home, where my family is living since more than 7 generations.
I have always been fascinated by my grandmother's ability to prepare awesome dishes from Tuscan tradition, always with few, simple but precious ingredients.
That cultural heritage was in danger of disappearing: I spent a lot of time cooking with her, trying to learn her recipes and secrets.
In the end, I realized that she had given me a bigger gift: I had assimilated her cooking philosophy!
Then, I realized that tradition is not a dusty book but a living thing able also to adapt to new conditions, and even improve.
I studied ingredient's seasonality, their sustainable production systems, new cooking techniques, techniques of tasting: almost without realizing it, in the meantime, I became Chef and finally, also Sommelier.
Since a lot of years, I decided to share this path: a long path that is not yet finished...

Fantastic experience, not to be missed
We had a fantastic time at our cooking class with Giacomo and Cristina. Giacomo has such a great passion and knowledge about food - how important it is to use the best quality ingredients possible and how every little detail matters when you want to prepare the perfect dish. We would highly recommend one of his classes and we may go back for the big menu 😋
Operator response
Thank you both!
You've noticed something I care about deeply: a perfect dish is built from small things, and not one of them can be skipped.
It was a pleasure to share them with you in our home.
If you do come back for the 5 Course Menu, there are plenty more waiting for you. 🙏

Wonderful Tuscan experience
This cooking class was a highlight of our trip - we so enjoyed learning about the intricacies of making pasta and Tiramisu - it is a true art! Chef Giacomo is also a sommelier so we were able to enjoy the best wines with each dish - perfecto! This will be one of our favorite memories of Tuscany!!
Operator response
Grazie, Sherry!
Pasta and tiramisù really do ask for the same kind of care — get the technique right and it looks effortless, get it wrong and you'll know it.
Choosing the wines to go with what you'd just made is one of my favourite parts of the class, so I'm really glad it hit the mark 🍷🍝.
Having your morning here become one of your favourite Tuscany memories is exactly why I do this! 🙏

An absolute must!
We had such a wonderful experience with Giacomo and Cristiana! The cooking class was informative, so much fun, and filled with so much passion for Italian food and tradition. You could really feel how much they love sharing their family traditions and recipes with others while welcoming us into their home. We learned so much, laughed a lot, and had an unforgettable experience. The food was delicious, you can really tell quality ingredients go a long way. They will also take photos during class so you do not have to worry about capturing the memory and send them to you afterwards. We would absolutely recommend this class to anyone looking for a truly authentic and personal Italian experience and memories to last a lifetime!
Operator response
Thank you! Hearing that you learned so much and laughed just as much tells us the morning struck the right balance.
That mix — real cooking, real fun, real tradition — is what we hope every guest walks away with.
Grazie! 🙏

Sharing the stories and techniques behind traditional Tuscan cooking, alongside a good glass of wine, is something we truly love doing.
And using organic ingredients is non-negotiable for us, since it really does shape the final taste.

A wonderful and personal experience
This was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip! Giacomo & Cristiana invited us to share their family history in the kitchen to learn how to make some traditional Tuscan dishes. The attention to detail about the quality of ingredients and hygiene involved made it really memorable, and we came away having learnt so much! The tasting afterwards was wonderful - I really could not recommend this experience enough!
Operator response
Thank you! Most guests remember the pasta-making, but it’s lovely that you also picked up on everything that happens around it — how we choose our ingredients, how the kitchen is kept, the small details that don’t always get noticed. That balance is exactly what we hope people take away, along with a good appetite for the tasting at the end!

MAKE A GREAT MEMORY - AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!
We had a fantastic time and learned a lot! Giacomo shared family recipes and his vast cooking and wine knowledge. Very detailed class including instructions on how to choose proper ingredients, how to prepare them, how to cook them and present a finished dish. Also a great discussion on wine and how to pair selections with each dish. This is a working farm so Giacomo’s knowledge of foods and wines goes all the way back to the soil that provides them. A beautiful location. The intimate hands on instruction is excellent and everyone is friendly and helpful. Each step is fully explained, then demonstrated, and then each person performs the task with supervision and encouragement to create their own meal that is enjoyed at end of the class in a beautiful setting. Recipes and pictures are included. We are looking forward to using what we have learned at our next family gathering! We highly recommend it as an essential part of a visit to the Tuscany area. It really made our time here complete. As a side note we also recommend a visit to the town of Montepulciano. This was our favorite town in the area with very friendly people and a long rich history.
Operator response
Thank you for this wonderful review! I love that you noticed the rhythm of the class — explain, demonstrate, then let each guest do it themselves under a bit of guidance — and then, at the tasting, pairing the wine with each dish we'd made together. That's exactly how I want people to leave: able to cook it again, with a little more know-how to get the food-wine pairings right at home too. So glad the recipes and photos will help you keep it all going.

Excellent experience to share with the family! Giacomo explained each of the cooking steps perfectly, gave us some very good tips, and at the end of the class, he prepared a delicious meal for us and gave us wines that paired perfectly with each dish. 100% recommended!

A Truly Authentic Taste of Tuscany
If you are looking for an authentic Tuscan cooking experience, we cannot recommend Giacomo enough. When searching for a cooking class, we were hoping to find something beyond simply learning a few recipes. We wanted to understand how Tuscan families cook using traditional ingredients, techniques, and generations of knowledge. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that preserving this authenticity is incredibly important to Giacomo. He shared wonderful stories about how he learned many of his techniques from his grandmother, which made the experience feel truly personal and meaningful.
Throughout the class, Giacomo did much more than teach us how to prepare each dish. He shared his knowledge about selecting quality ingredients, explained the reasoning behind different cooking methods, and provided insight into the history and traditions behind the recipes. I left feeling that I had gained a much deeper appreciation for Tuscan cuisine rather than just a set of instructions to follow.
It was evident how passionate Giacomo is about his craft and how much he values family. His wife assisted with the class, and their children even stopped by to say hello, adding to the genuine and welcoming atmosphere. One of the most special parts of the experience was knowing that we were supporting a family-run business and being welcomed into their home, rather than attending a more commercial cooking experience.
Giacomo went above and beyond to make our time memorable. He thoughtfully captured photos of our family throughout the class and promptly shared them with us afterward via WhatsApp. He also emailed us the recipes so we could recreate the dishes at home. After dessert, he kindly invited us to relax and enjoy the beautiful views from their family property while he finished cleaning the kitchen.
The food itself was exceptional. We were amazed by the generous amount of food provided, and each dish was thoughtfully paired with a wine that complemented the flavours perfectly.
This experience was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany. Giacomo created something that was not only educational, but also deeply authentic, personal, and memorable. We are incredibly grateful for the time we spent with him and would recommend this experience to anyone. Five stars!
Operator response
Reading this made us very happy, thank you! We never wanted this to feel like a class you attend and then move on from — the goal has always been to let people into how we actually live and cook, not a polished version of it. Knowing that came through, and that it stayed with you beyond the recipes themselves, is exactly why we keep doing this the way we do.

Authentic cooking class - in a Chef’s home!
What a fantastic experience! This cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip. Our chef was a true professional with high standards and a passion for teaching. He expected everyone to pay close attention and follow along carefully. As the class went on, his warm and funny personality really came through. We laughed together, learned so much about authentic Italian cooking, and had an incredible time.
The meal he prepared with the pasta we created was absolutely delicious, and the wines paired with each course made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for a hands-on class with a talented chef who genuinely wants you to learn, not just cook, this is the one. We left with wonderful memories, new skills, and recipes we’ll actually use at home.
Operator response
Thank you, Linda, and your entire family!
For me, a cooking class really works when people learn the technique and truly embrace what "cooking" means to me.
So yes, I insist on attention and precision above all else.
The warmth, the laughter, and the family-like atmosphere that came once the lesson had been fully absorbed are no coincidence: that's the balance we strive for every time.
I'm glad the wine pairings played their part too. Enjoy your dishes at home — you now have the skill to bring them to life again.
Grazie! 🙏

Traditional and Delicious Cooking Class
My husband and I just took a cooking class with Giacomo at his family farm estate and it was wonderful. Giacomo is very passionate about his culture, family history of cooking, and sharing tips and knowledge with others. It was a thorough class learning about the specificity of ingredients and steps to make delicious and homemade pasta dishes and dessert. We made traditional Tuscan dishes including tagliatelle, pici, and tiramisu. We ate all three as well as a traditional bruschetta assortment prepared by Giacomo. Each dish was paired with a specific wine from the region that Giacomo chose. It was all SO good! Thank you to Giacomo and his wife Cristiana, for opening up your home to teach and share delicious meals with others!

Thank you so much for this lovely review! We're glad the morning felt complete — not just the pasta-making, but the ingredients, the stories behind them, and a wine chosen for each course along the way. Building that whole picture, course by course, is exactly what we hope guests take with them. Cristiana and I wish you and your husband many delicious evenings ahead!
