Enjoy panoramic views from the iconic red-brick castle tower and stroll around the scenic open-air heritage site. Here, your Bearded Guide will share tales of knights, legends, and local heroes - including Kaupo, a man both celebrated and controversial in Latvian history.

What a fantastic day out! Jānis is the consummate guide - informative, personable and lots of fun. We visited fascinating castles, enjoyed beautiful scenery, and explored Latvia’s bobsleigh/luge track (which was surprisingly very interesting!). There’s a lot to see outside Riga so make sure you don’t miss it. Would totally recommend. Thanks Jānis!

It was incredible! Our guide was absolutely fantastic! He gave us a ton of history on the region and took us to amazing places and had such a great vibe! Highly recommend if you are in Riga to take this tour! He took extra time to take us around Riga all the way back to our ship!!
It is totally recommended; the castles are very beautiful, and you also visit a cave and the bobsleigh track.
