Unique Alaskan experience for animal and floral lovers!

We immensely enjoyed the summer tundra walk with our guide. She was so knowledgeable about the land, dog sledding and Alaska in general. The dogs were so much fun to walk with! We got to give them treats along the way and learn about Alaskan huskies and their unique abilities to pull sleds and work as a team. We also got to pick berries as we walked!

Operator response

Thanks so much again for joining us out on the land with the Moon Dogs! We enjoyed our time with you as well! For any future guest reading this review starting roughly early August we have abundant blueberries and other fruit readily available for harvest on the land. - Court, Brian and the Moon Dogs

This was an awesome...

This was an awesome experience. Court is really knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the land, what grows there, and what to see, that we otherwise wouldn’t have. The dogs are adorable, friendly, and really brighten up your day. Our group was kept small, so we were able to spend some great quality time with them. 10/10, really unique experience, takes you to a different area with great views, and the Moon Dog Kennel team is great. Would 100% do this activity again!

Operator response

Great family experience with the dogs!

Court was incredibly flexible with us on times, including last minute, and taught us so much about the dogs and the land! We had kids 8-13 with us and it was one of the highlights of our trip!

Must do if you're in the Denali area!!!

This was a 10 out of 10 experience! Met up with our guide (Court) and she was amazing! Her passion and enthusiasm for the land and her dogs came through the entire time we were together. Dogs were fun and friendly and loved pets! Yet, just as amazing as the dogs was learning about the tundra, including the plants, trees, and permafrost! We spent almost 2 weeks in Alaska, and this was one of my family's favorite things because of how much we learned and how much fun we had. Bonus is that Court lives in the area, so she could really tell us how it is to live in Alaska throughout the year.

Operator response

Great walk with adorable dogs and knowledgeable guide!

Wonderful time with the dogs and Courtney (Court) today! We learned so much about the tundra ecosystem and dogs. The dogs were super friendly and very well-mannered (they even took turns catching treats!). The location is also beautiful. Great organization that really cares about the well-being of their dogs. More than just a walk with beautiful Huskies!

Court is so knowledgeable about the land they live off and her and Brian’s Huskies. They are beautiful and friendly, and you can see how loved and well-cared for they are. We learned a great deal about the land and its bountifulness as well! A very informative and unique experience that we highly recommend. The price you pay goes into the upkeep of those precious Huskies! They do an excellent job of educating and interacting with the dogs off trail is such fun!

Operator response
