Soo many snacks
Uncomplicated booking. Easy going guide. I expected a somewhat grueling hike to the top, but instead we snacked our way to the top and back. Yummy 😋. (I was also quite tired from the hike though, when I was back down.
One small suggestion: add a hint about the parking situation

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE .NO ORGANIZATION AT ALL!!
Worst experience imposible!
The organization didn´t existed at all. They charge you big moneyfor the hike (160 € = 170$= 1700 NOK) without any shuttle bus to reach the meeting point. As a newcomer , we didn´t know about how to reach there and bus time schedule. No one pick you up the phone from 3 pm on fridays and the weekend. You must find out everything by your own. They also highly recommend u to hire a guide, cause supposely was dangerous ,hard, steep, tiring, etc.. The reality, THE GUIDE it´s NOT NEEDED. Our´s , Gustav ,a danishman who didn´t explain us anything at all about the natural beauties we were seeing.Or about how it was formed the lake ,the waterfalls, the Amazing Clifts, the pounds, etc.. He was just in a rush to take the bus back. No conversation ,no humor sense, too cold. I honestly think It was a RIP OFF dealing with this people. Also the kids could hike all the way up to the beautiful clift. They tell you they will have enough snacks for keep the body energetic, but the guide only shared a sandwich and 2 cookies for 12 h hike. Amazing!! On the way back , with no explanations about the foundation of the rocks and the lake ,etc..the guide left us abandoned on a Parking with NO info how to go back, and of course, he couldn´t offer a place on his car. Also they recommend to bring tonNes of items on a list ,and the most of them are not really required. Thus, I do NOT RECOMMEND TO HIRE with this OPERATOR or people of Trolltunga Advantures , it´s DEFINETELLY A RIP OFF the money you pay ,and the lousy service they give back. The accomodation at Thussedal was very difficult to find . NO SIGNS indicating the hotel or Apartment location.Very lonely place.

Failure of customer service
I booked a full-day guided winter hike with Trolltunga Adventures for May 16th. 36 hours prior to departure they notified me that my tour was being cancelled due a landslide. Instead of a refund, they instructed me to seek compensation through my insurance provider.
I wrote back immediately saying that while I understood the need to cancel, I strongly objected to them refusing a direct refund. Under Norwegian consumer law, force majeure provisions protect businesses from liability for a client's secondary expenses and damages, but they do not permit a company to keep payments for services they fail to deliver. Their reply was boilerplate of their terms and conditions, insisting that my booking constituted agreement to the T&Cs, and reiterating that I should file an insurance claim.
The fundamental issue here is that corporate terms and conditions cannot override statutory law. If a customer is forced to file an insurance claim in a case like this, they are penalized by deductibles and potential future rate increases, while the business avoids all responsibility and pockets money for a service they never delivered.
For anyone ever facing a force majeure cancellation from Trolltunga Adventures, my recommendation is to avoid filing an insurance claim, as doing so only rewards this behavior. Instead, dispute the transaction directly with your bank or CC and request a chargeback. If enough customers take this route, Trolltunga Adventures will eventually face penalties as a vendor.
It is worth noting that a direct competitor of Trolltunga Adventures chose to issue refunds to impacted travelers. I learned this on travel forums and by talking to other affected travelers in Odda. Furthermore, the shuttle service I had arranged to reach the meetup location processed an automatic refund without me even asking. Ultimately, my bank quickly approved my chargeback request, so I got my money back just fine. However, the whole situation left a SUPER unpleasant impression. I ended up filing a formal complaint regarding predatory T&Cs with Norway's Consumer Council, and hope they will investigate.
Canceling a guided hike for legitimate safety concerns is entirely justified. Exploiting your customers in the aftermath is absolutely inexcusable.

We recommend Trolltunga Adventures for this hike.
We are overall very satisfied with this hike done with Trolltunga Adventures.
My booking experience before the trip was very smooth, and the questions I asked by email were answered very quickly by this agency.
Furthermore, we were very nicely guided throughout the day by Kristine, a young guide in the making, who knew how to advise us on how to go about pacing ourselves on the trail. The thoughtful touches she had planned for snacks and lunch were very appreciated, and we also found the historical and cultural information shared along the way very interesting.
By happy coincidence, we were the only ones to have booked this day hike that day, so we had a private tour 😃.
The hike itself is superb, but the elevation gain is tough. The bright sun that day—although appreciated for admiring the landscape—made the ascents and descents even more difficult.
Consequently, we found the pace a bit too fast for one day and the scheduled time frame. Or else you have to be very athletic and in great shape (and perhaps also a bit younger than us 😂). Another downside of this hike in general: if you can avoid July and August, it would be better because there are many, many people there to take the famous photo on the rock.
But we recommend the professionalism and kindness of this agency.

Best hike ever!
Best hike I have done but also the toughest. Wonderful views, nature is so beautiful in Norway. Get to see Trolltunga up close and the view there was fantastic. The guide Elias was caring and helpful, the right man in the right place. Great credit to him. He brought coffee, snacks and a hearty lunch sandwich for the participants in the group.
For those of you who do not want to hike alone, I really recommend contacting Trolltunga Adventures.

Beautiful hike to Trolltunga
Had an amazing hike with Ben. Moved quickly consistent with the group's ability but always checked in to make sure we were all okay. Fun, knowledgeable, and provided tasty snacks along the way. The hike is beautiful throughout with the Troll's tongue providing excellent photos. The hike is very reasonable if you've got the right gear and a little fitness.

Disrespectful AND Unprofessional
Very unprofessional! Poor management /poor communication!! I received NO communication regarding road work/access status for hike. Not knowing if scheduled hike was possible, I needed to make alternate plans and requested a refund for long awaited trip. My request was DENIED. I will NEVER book with this company again. And I will NOT recommend to anyone else!

No refund after road closure
I was told days before my scheduled group day hike of a road closure and it wouldn’t be possible to do the day hike. Totally understandable things happen. I paid $180 for the day hike and was told NO REFUND was possible. They could no longer provide the service but definitely willing to keep your money. Would t recommend

Very nice, challenging and cozy hike.
It was a very nice hike with Sander! Very good luck with the weather. Snacks were sufficient, but bringing your own snacks and drinks is advisable. It was our 1st hike, it was doable but it certainly doesn't hurt to train for it. But even without training easily achievable.
