Very professional company and very nice driver. He picked us up early and got us to FCO early. Stress free and smooth transfer
The good : We got the car at the designated time, despite all the issues The car was great The bad : Very poor communication. They don't even respond the previous day or communicate when things go bad. I requested and they confirmed the pick up timing at 10 AM a month in advance. I checked the previous day, there is no response. The driver messages 6.30 AM in the morning saying he will pick up at 7.30 AM. I said thats not was agreed. We had a lot of back and forth. I tried reaching out to the agency and they wouldnt respond. The driver finally waits till 9.30 Am and we disembarked. He is clearly not happy because he is told, I changed my mind last minute. I had to show him the Viator communications. The driver started driving faster than normal to make up his time and we reach Rome in a record 55 minutes. Drops us 50m away from hotel as Car cannot go in front of the hotel and does not offer to help with any of the luggages. He just dumps us and goes. Please note the average cost of a a van ride from Port to Rome is 220 Euros if you book in Rome and and I am already paying significantly more than that, because I tried to book the arrangements 2 months in advance.
We were very impressed and pleased with our experience with Viator and our driver. Our cruise ship did not let us disembark until 1 hour after our scheduled pick up. We notified Viator in advance to let them know that our cruise ship was late in releasing us from the ship. Viator was very helpful and our driver did wait for us. Our driver was very professional, helpful and personable. We highly recommend aviator’s service. We will definitely use their service again in the future.

The only issue we have is that they confirmed but never confirmed the time until the morning. It was stressful to not know they were going to be there on time. We called Viator numerous times and they left a message. We also emailed them a couple of times. We never got a response until that day an hour before the time we requested. The communication was better.
