We had a great time with Irene from Homecooking! Our food that we made was absolutely delicious and the company cooking along side us made the experience even better. We would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking about doing a cooking class while in Lisbon. We got to make and eat an incredible dinner and enjoyed red, white, and port wine, and ended the evening with a shot of espresso. Absolutely amazing!

Had an amazing experience cooking with Teresa! It was a perfect evening that started with wine, olives, cheese, chorizo, and bread. We had a wonderful time and learned a lot about cooking traditional Portuguese food. Would definitely recommend!
Great time, great meal. Class of 8 was broken up into four pairs. Each pair made one dish (deep fried deviled eggs, a rice dish, fish dish and pork ribs).
We were part of 11 people who participated in a 4 course meal. Serendipitously, we were all Canadian, a pleasant surprise. There was plenty of wine flowing but non alcoholic beverages are also provided. We were given step by step instructions for making an appetizer, two main meals (pork ribs and Bacalhau/fish dish, plus pastel de nata desserts. It was overcast hours long and very enjoyable. A do again experience.

The cooking class was hands-on and included several courses, finishing up with pastel de nata. Theresa was an excellent teacher and gave history and context for the recipes, which was helpful. The only challenge was she did not get information I put into the Viator reservation about one person in my group not having any alcohol in the food, but she made modifications on the spot which was very appreciated. We have taken cooking classes across the world and this was one of our favorites...and not just because we took home a lot of leftovers, but that didn't hurt. 😀

We were given an incorrect address for the cooking studio. We got dropped off and realized. At that point I received a phone call from Viator representative telling us of their mistake and saying they sent me the new address (which they didn’t) and that it was as only a 15 minute walk to other location!! What!! I was very frustrated at this point and demanded they send us an uber to take us the correct address as we were already very late. They did send the uber and when we got to correct studio all the people in the class had to scramble to get to the right place. After that the class was well organized and lots of fun. Alll the food we made was we delicious and Diego was a good chef and instructor. The only other glitch was that the room was so hot. He trying to lower the temp in the room to no avail. We had to keep stepping outside the studio too cool off. This made the experience less enjoyable. VIator needs to fix these problems for future classes. Could be great but mismanaged.
Cooking class with “Lisbon Cooking” was excellent. Chef Sylvia. Was terrific. She engaged all the students giving us an opportunity to participate. I highly recommend this class
