Tour to old capital Georgia - city Mtskheta

I had booked an excursion for my last day in Georgia, but I unfortunately arrived about 20 minutes late because of unexpected roadwork and heavy traffic. I perfectly understand that the bus left without waiting for me. However, what really disappointed me was the attitude of two employees. Instead of looking for a solution or offering me an alternative, they were very cold, rude, and disrespectful. The most disappointing thing was that I was told I should have informed myself better before coming to Georgia, especially because my hotel was in a construction zone. I was obviously not aware of this construction, and that is precisely what had caused my delay. I acknowledge that the delay was my responsibility, but I would have appreciated more understanding and especially that they try to offer me an alternative, since it was my last day in the country. This interaction unfortunately left a very bad impression and tarnished the end of a trip that, until then, had gone very well. I hope that management will take this feedback seriously and pay more attention to the quality of service and the staff's attitude toward customers.

Convenient tour if you do not want to bother with transportation. Our guide Nino is very kind and knows her subject well, and translates into good English. The tour is quite timed but it is enough for the sites visited.

The guide pays more attention to the Russian public, although she makes reference and gives information in English she could do it with more empathy.

Good Experience, length of vist and staff

A great half-day trip to Mtskheta, the historic former capital of Georgia. The tour included several fascinating historical sites and beautiful Orthodox churches, with a very knowledgeable guide who provided plenty of background and context. At times the commentary felt a little stiff and rehearsed, but overall I really enjoyed the experience. A lovely finish was a visit to a traditional wine cellar with a wine tasting — a perfect Georgian touch to the day.

Amazing tour. Host was very attentive and accommodating. We got into very deep and interesting conversations about the world and culture/geoplitics of Georgia that I won't soon forget. I also love the personal intimate touch of these solo tours, really gives you a feel for the country. It's even inspired me to invest.
