Explore the hidden life of the forest after sunset in ANURA, just minutes from La Fortuna. On this approximately 2-hour night tour, you will walk on safe and well-maintained trails as your guides help you discover how the jungle changes at nightfall. With flashlights in hand, you can observe red-eyed frogs, bright insects, night birds, reptiles and hopefully alligators in wet areas. The trail is accessible and surrounded by restored vegetation, with spots where the guide stops the group to hear and observe sounds and patterns that only emerge after twilight. Excellent tour! Our guide was wonderful and showed us many insects, frogs, plants - we even got to see some monkeys and marsupials! Would highly recommend!

Wow, what an experience Roy did an excellent job taking us through the night and making us feel comfortable throughout the whole process we saw bullfrogs, birds many different type of bugs and plants. It was such a crazy experience. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is visiting La Fortuna

Amazing time walking through Costa Rica at night! The guide was very knowledgeable and the money goes to supporting the local population which is great to know. We saw lots of frogs and other insects. Thankfully no snakes!

Excellent night walk accompanied by a great guide! With the help of her long life, Shayla showed us pretty colorful frogs, toads, insects, and sloths. Shayla speaks perfect French, she is attentive and helps us take magnificent photos of the local wildlife. We highly recommend this tour that we loved!

Shayla was a excellent tour guide, we took the tour at 6 PM, we were able to see a lot of frogs and some insects like spiders. It was a great experience overall we enjoy it a lot.

We had a wonderful experience at the Anura Night Walk! The entire experience was very well organized, and the service was excellent from start to finish. A special thanks to Angey and the gentleman who assisted us — they were both incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their hospitality really made the experience even more enjoyable. The night walk itself was a great way to experience Costa Rica’s wildlife after dark, and our family had a fantastic time. This was amazing!!!!! We saw lots of different animals, bugs, and fungi! Our tour guide Bernie (I believe that is how you spell it or at least close to how you say it) was extremely knowledgeable and kind through out the tour. The path was very easy to walk on and was a great and easy thing to do after a long day of walking/hiking. This is not specifically related to the activities but I just have to mention the insane hospitality and kindness from our guide Bernie when our Uber to take us back to our hotel didn't show up. We waited for about 25 minutes for the Uber and right as we were considering just walking for multiple hours he offered to take us in his car to our hotel near La Fortuna. We really wanted to deny him and not he a burden but in the end we accepted and he consistently refused to give us a Venmo or Cash app type thing for us to pay him since we didn't have much cash on us. This was genuinely an amazing experience with the walking part and the super super insane hospitality. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!!!!!!!

Great tour! We (family with 2 children aged 11 and 13) have seen everything. Snakes (even one 2 meters long), frogs, spiders, sloth etc. Everyone gets a flashlight and you all actively search along. The guide Roberto took plenty of time to explain everything and took beautiful pictures with his binoculars (which you get afterwards)!
