①Omoide Yokocho “Omoide Yokocho", also known as Memory Lane, is a narrow alley filled with tiny izakayas and yakitori shops. It offers a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere where you can enjoy delicious grilled skewers and drinks alongside locals.”
②Kabukicho “Kabukicho"is Japan’s largest entertainment and nightlife district, famous for its bright neon lights, restaurants, bars, and quirky attractions. While it’s known for its lively energy, exploring with a guide ensures a safe and fun experience.”
③Golden Gai “Golden Gai". is a unique area of small, themed bars tucked into narrow alleyways. Each bar has its own character, and it’s a great place to meet locals and travelers while enjoying Japanese whisky, sake, or cocktails. ＊Please disregard the listed duration, as it does not reflect the actual length of this tour. We had an awesome time with Mr Tokyo Tours. Meeting up was simple. He showed us around Shinjuku, provided us with the history of the city, took us to hidden Izakayas, which was very enjoyable. And a bonus was the surprise birthday shutout, Thank you. If your looking for a tour guide, I do recommend Mr Tokyo Tours. If your from Australia like us, note that the price is set in USD, so that is double for us in terms of payment. But if your sharing the cost between friends, then its doable. We also booked a shopper via Mr Tokyo to help us with shopping the next day and that was amazing. We really enjoyed having Hitome with us. Thank you Mr Tokyo Tours. 😊
I highly recommend Mr. Tokyo when you’re visiting Japan. He was great! He took us to some amazing restaurants. Introduced us to some great local bars and fun spots. Also visited a magical shrine and we learned all its history and taught us the proper way to pray. This was our first time visiting Tokyo and I have to say it felt great being shown around by someone with so much knowledge of the area.
This was the best tour we had! Mr. Tokyo(Shota) took us to the real Shinjuku local spots with the best food! He took the time to ask as what we were looking for and made sure the spots fit our taste buds! He was super welcoming and made us feel comfortable as he led the way through all the cool parts of Shinjuku. Golden Gai was the highlight but all the food spots were delicious! We really enjoyed our time in this tour and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Tokyo. This is a must do tour, Mr. Tokyo will customize your tour and deliver on a great experience!

Yuuki was the best tour guide we’ve ever had! I’ve traveled to many countries and booked many tours, but he was by far the best guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared so many useful tips that only a local would know. Every place he took us to was somewhere we never would have found on our own, and the food was absolutely delicious. I recommend him 100000%🔥
We had an incredible night with Shota! My wife and I were on our honeymoon and spent a night with Shota touring a bunch of spots in Shinjuku. Not only does he know his stuff, and will take you to some awesome bars and restaurants you wouldn't find otherwise, but he is also just a fun time and a great hang. We really enjoyed sharing our cultures and learning about Japan over some excellent food and drink. Would recommend this tour to anyone!
Sho (Mr Tokyo) knows his stuff. We went to a series of really cool, interesting and delicious spots. Upstairs or down hidden alleyways through unmarked doors. We had great sushi in one spot, then cooked our own Wagyu in another, then a little bar in a special alleyway for these sake sours that were excellent. Finished upstairs in a small bar with an impeccably dressed bartender and some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Take this tour!
