Experience was one of a kind. Nana was an excellent guide and Ori the Geisha was out of this world.
It was a fantastic experience and I had a even better time with our guide and Ori.
Nana the host and guide was very good and skilled. Ori the geisha had very good English and was very pleasant.
This was good. A real Geisha entertained us all evening with conversation, dancing, play and music. Food was ok, sushi amazing
A truly memorable experience Orin was a delight and we had Ken as our guide If you have the chance book this
A most wonderful and enlightening evening spent with Orin and helped by our guide Ken. We learnt to much about Japanese culture and living the Geisha life. Orin was so generous in sharing her Experience with us. It was certainly an evening we will never forget
Since I previously attended a tea ceremony with Maiko san, I wanted to see one more geisha before I left Japan. Through GetYourGuide, my dream came true!! I loved meeting Geisha san. With her, I had such a memorable night. I enjoyed watching her perform, learning her story, connecting with her, and learning how to dance just like her. Kensuke (Ken) was such a great guide, too! He taught me so much about the history of Tokyo’s geisha and its geisha district. He showed me areas I would have never known existed had it not been for him. Dining at the ryotei was truly special. I was so happy to meet everybody there and it was one of the best nights I could have ever asked for.
What an absolute honour to have dinner with a Geisha. She was so generous & open to telling us about her life, her training, her dedication to preserving Japanese customs. She was interested in hearing about us & our Australian lifestyle too. Thanks to Ken, our intrepid Tour Guide & Translator, who organise this for us … without him, this would not have been possible.
We were traveling in Japan with our two small children and had the unique opportunity to have a Geisha dinner. Wow! That was fun and unique. Ken showed us around the area and served as our interpreter during dinner. Dinner was at an exclusive members club with a delicious 4 course meal. The kids hated it (obviously) but we brought them ipads and headphones, so my husband and I could enjoy it. The dancing and music were beautiful. The games were fun. An unique and enjoyable expierence. Thank you Ken!
The show was very nice and in a pleasant atmosphere. The geisha was entertaining and enthusiastic about answering all our questions. The artistry of the dances was beautiful and gracious. As a plus a very skilled shamisen lady player joined also. The kaiseki dinner was delicious and of course everything was facilitated by the very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional guide Ken! Thank you! Attended with my wife.
