We will watch the famous clock tower in Ginza. The clock tower is a living witness to the development of the Ginza district since the Meiji era.
Located in a narrow alley that you might accidentally pass by is the Toyoiwa Inari Shrine. The shrine has been located here since the early Edo period, and many people involved in the performing arts, including Kabuki actors, have long worshipped at this historic shrine.
Enjoy traditional Japanese performing arts culture at the Kabukiza Theater with a guide! We will first enjoy the elegant exterior of the Kabukiza Theater. Once inside, you will visit the Kabukiza Gallery to learn more about the history of Kabuki and its performances. Next, we will go shopping at the Kobikicho Square. This bustling place is filled with Kabuki related goods and souvenirs. How about something you can only buy here as a souvenir?
The tour will end in front of the Godzilla statue near Yurakucho Station. The 3-meter tall (including the 50-centimeter pedestal) bronze statue of Godzilla was installed in 2018. Godzilla, a driving force in special effects technology, is also an integral part of Japan's entertainment culture.
