Fun and informative walking tour!

We had a great experience on the tour of the Imperial Palace grounds and local neighborhood with Naz. It was our first day in Tokyo and Naz was really informative about the history of Tokyo and the palace and shared many stories and pictures to illuminate Japanese history. We stopped at Tokyo Daijingu and she gave us many insights about the shrine’s creation and use today. Lunch wasn’t included in the tour, but Naz helped us find a local place for Soba and joined us for lunch and more conversation. I highly recommend this tour with Naz!

Incredible Historic Tour of Imperial Palace with an expert guide

Our tour with Maddie at and around the Imperial Castle was a beautiful and informative trip. She seemed completely prepared for any questions we had and came with supplementary material to help explain things. Maddie was incredibly warm, conversational, and friendly. We had many follow up questions about the minutia of the masonry, flora, and the history of Japan and Maddie frequently answered questions I had before I could form them into words. The tour was beautiful and we ended up in a market area with several great recommendations for local restaurants, shops, and places to see.

Maddie, the guide, is excellent!

The tour was very interesting for anyone interested in Japan’s history. Maddie the guide was excellent. Speaks English clearly, and is very kind and helpful. She went above and beyond the needs of the tour by helping me to find an ATM, suggesting a restaurant where she joined me, and giving me advice on the subway to my hotel. I can’t recommend her enough!
