Taishakuten Sando (or more simply Shibamata Sando) is a historic shopping street that connects the station to the Taishakuten Temple. The street is dotted on both sides with many old stores, keeping the atmosphere of the neighborhood in line with the one of the ancient past.

The iconic temple of the district. It can also be visited internally in its entirety. Outside is characterized by the multiple finely crafted reliefs, while inside features a wonderful Zen garden.

A wonderful day in Tokyo
We spent a day in Tokyo with our guide, Daniele; he provided us with all the information about city transport and showed us the historic buildings, sharing the history of Japan with us.
Without Daniele we couldn’t be able to orient in this city, so he is been fantastic and we recommend him.
