The whole trip was smooth sailing. Karina was our guide, and Guido was our driver. Karina was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She knew exactly where to go and when, which helped us avoid the crowds and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. She also gave us several recommendations for the rest of our time in Cusco, which turned out to be very helpful. 10/10! Guido, our driver, was exceptional as well. This was our second round trip to and from Ollantaytambo, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much smoother and more comfortable the ride was compared with our first trip. He was an excellent driver and made the journey very easy. Also 10/10! Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend both Karina and Guido.

8:00 am: Meet Roxana who is part of the eldest family keeping the weaving traditions alive. Her alpacas and guinea pigs will welcome you and you can feed them their breakfast. Further, learn about their fascinating weaving techniques using natural ingredients to create impressive textiles by hand.
Maras Moray Tours
9:30 am: Imagine the impressive Inca terraces and the beautiful Andes in the background. This view is just stunning, the story behind even more. Your guide will teach you about the Inca's agricultural laboratory, and how they created different climatic zones in these terraces. We'll enjoy this place for about 45min - 1h.

11 am: Staying in front of thousands of salt ponds, still intact. Here you have the chance to take one of the most famous pictures in the Sacred Valley. Our guide will be happy to capture this moment for you. From here we continue our tour to have delicious lunch.

2:40 pm: Our last discovery for that day: The terraces and ruins of Ollantaytambo. This place was highly protected as it was the entrance to the path to Machu Picchu. Thus, much happened here during the Spanish invasion.

Rene was an amazing tour...
Rene was an amazing tour guide. He was knowledgeable on everything from the history of the Incans to tectonic plates and their effects on the region, giving that extra layer of context to everything you saw. He was incredibly warm, and you could tell he loved his job. We had an amazing time and they dropped us off perfectly for our train to Aguas Calientes to see Machu Picchu the next day, not too late or too early. Would recommend to my friends

Great One Day Sacred Valley Tour
This was a well organized single day Sacred Valley tour, which fit perfectly with our schedule! Our tour guide was Maik and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and took great pictures! Communication was great and we loved seeing all the sites! It was a long day, but I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the Sacred Valley in a day from Cusco!

Overall the experience...
Overall the experience was really great. Our tour guide Junior was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and coincidently a great photographer. I really appreciated his knowledge about Cusco, not just the sites we were visiting but the culture in general and his willingness to answer our questions. Our driver German was awesome at navigating the roads and varying types of terrain in Cusco. I would never rent a car or attempt driving in Cusco, that is best left to the locals. One thing I will say is that when you go to learn about the wool - it’s really admirable the work and craftsmanship that goes into each piece but afterward when you go to the shop it was hard to just look around and find something you liked because the people that work there are very effective at selling (pushy). Not a reason not to do it, just good to know. Overall we’d recommend it.

Culture immersion day in sacred valley
We took the tour with Maiky on Sept 12, and had a wonderful time. The tour went exactly as described. Maiky was attentive, and his talks are very informative. We just wish we could spend a bit more time at Ollantytambo.

Best day ever!!!
One of the best days of our trip. It was so organized from beginning to end and so many amazing moments. Our tour guide Vidal made it so special and memorable for us and our driver Germán got us around safely. This is the best tour you can take of the sacred valley highly recommend!
