We will continue among the steps of the Sassi until we reach some cave churches, a typically furnished cave house and a historic cellar.

For our long weekend in Matera we booked the visit to the Sassi and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Beyond the evocative landscape, our guide Giuseppe knew how to keep the group's attention high with his engaging story. Experience definitely to be recommended.
Starting from the assumption that Matera is a unique city, our guide Giuseppe, Pppn, was very good and knew how to engage us for two and a half hours, telling the history of these places in a simple and linear way. I recommend that everyone who comes to Matera book a guided tour; there are many things to discover that only a guide can tell you, making you live a unique experience.
