We start out with a canal-side wander to capture photos of working river life. Tugboats arrive here carrying coconuts and other goods from the Mekong, and we’ll document these classic scenes from the Saigonese riverside. The route then takes us past a Buddhist temple and onto a floating village, with rickety houseboats anchored along the path. The owners often come out for a chat, giving us a chance to take portraits and shots of them at work and play. We finish up with a dramatic view of Saigon’s 21st century skyline over the river, and a walk through a traditional market offering beautiful light for people photography.

A great tour for photographers wanting to see real Saigon.
This was a great little trip. An early morning start to capture all of the activities that go on first thing in the morning. Eileen the guide was brilliant in not only guiding me around the area and giving me information about what was going on but also advice on her photographic techniques, this I really appreciated. Being with a guide like this who is familiar with the area and knows the people makes it much easier to get some great shots. I most definitely recommend this activity.

Great Phot Tour Experience
What a terrific early morning exploration of the market and waterside activities along the river’s edge. Eileen quickly determined a few simple things that I could develop to improve my storytelling in pictures and we headed off to focus on those skills. The result was some memorable images and improved photography techniques that I will use going forward. Book this tour for an educational and fun morning.

A fun and unique tour

I'll be back...
I'm still going through photos and trying to figure out what to do with them. It was great tour and i enjoyed it a lot. Paul was great, and i think for me, it was good having an ex-pat from Australia doing the tour. He was great with regards to feedback for shots as well as providing some good context for the neighbourhood and locals. More than likely if i'm back for what ever reason, i'll give you guys a bell again for another similar tour. Thanks again, it was very worthwhile tour for me to do.

Excellent photographic tour in authentic areas of Saigon.
Excellent tour: our guide Paul Green was knowledgeable about Saigon and took my wife and me to interesting places away from the tourist tracks. He also made some helpful suggestions about my photography, and I am very pleased to have many nice images from the tour.
Vietnam In Focus were great to deal with - efficient and excellent communications.

Fantastic tour
I had a fantastic tour with Paul! He took me to areas I would never have found myself. He has a great way of approaching people (even though he doesn't speak Vietnamese) - I learned that from him and that will help me a lot on my next photo tours! Thanks again to Paul!
